Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday July 18th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
Today is the new term starting week of UQ. We met many new students, some just arriving to do the student registration. We had been helping some of them to get on the right bus to get to UQ. It was good that we can serve as local guide to point them to the right direction for both their Uni study needs and the need of eternal life in Christ. God also called and moved a pious Australian born Indian students to stop and offer to pray for Johnny and me. It is good to know that we are not alone but God has raised up many prophets to prophesize turning people back to God. Recap is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) Chole a local Aussie girl who was open for conversation as such full gospel was shared and initial receptiveness was witnessed.
2) Andreas an Italian QUT Engineer student however lives in St Lucia, shared the nutshell of the gospel as bus came quite quick.
3) Kabir the Australian Born Indian but came to Christ in 2014, 10 years after an near death experience in 2004 that he really died for 9 minutes but came back to life being shocked by the Heaven scene he saw when he lied dead. It triggered his search for way to eternal life and received Christ 10 years later, But he only became a fervent Christian joining power to change and engaging in gospel outreach in the campus. He anyhow was moved to pray for us as a God sent angel.
4) Then I caught up with a Maninder from Jiangsu Changzhou , he was open to the gospel and moved to pursue salvation by grace through faith in Christ.
5) Then I approached an Indian guy who was on the phone but still chatted with me for a short while letting me know he was approached before possibly by Winnie. He was at the right time for another extensive chat, so I had to let him go to continue with his phone call.
6) Then I turned to my right to try to chat with a Muslim look lady. But after chatting for a while, she suddenly claimed she does not speak English but how can she become a UQ student? So I could only draw to the conclusion that she took an excuse to decline my invitation to chat and share.
7) Then I turned to a Sweden girl nearby and she was open for chat. It was a pity her bus came a bit too quick to let me finish the full gospel.
8 ) Then I connected with a new student from Xian who just arrived today and was about to go to the student registration office. I guided him the way and started the gospel sharing which he was open for understanding about Jesus.
9) Finally I caught up with a Singapore student who claimed he is a Christian, but has not assurance of salivation and don't even know much about Jesus and full of doubt about the Biblical account likes creation in 6 days. It was a pity his bus arrival cut short our conversation. But we both hope to chat again next week so we took a selfie to recognize each other's face.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday July 11th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
It was a fine day for outreach and both Johnny and Hung had got Spirit led divine appointment with God's elected person to have good conversation with us. For Johnny, he first had consecutively talked with three group of Islamic Muslim, especially a group of three Muslim ladies who all appeared with an open mind and softened hearts to learn about the gospel of Jesus' salvation. Towards the end, Johnny had a long chat with Owen from Hong Kong and he showed great interest to listen to the full gospel and promised to take it very seriously to consider accepting Jesus as his Saviour after reading the tract again at home. As for Hung, there were mixed results to have good chat with Senior persons with Catholic background and non-believers from both Local Aussie, India and Indonesia. On the contrary, all the mainland Chinese we approached today were all rejective. Recap below is he Battle Log of Hung today.
1) Jasmine a local Aussie I met last week and good to catch up with here. She was not in a mood to chat today but however thanks for my care and consideration to greet her. Pray that the seed sowed will sprout in His time if we can meet again.
2) Kevin Catholic Christian with his wife hiding behind the bus booth in the shade. He however was very open and delightful to have a l7 min chat with me under the sun despite he just finished a nose skin canner removal day surgery. His biblical understanding of many Christian teachings was not rock solid. Lacking assurance of salvation was one of the signs. He was happy for me to help him clarified his understanding of assurance of salvation.
3) Gloria a local Aussie girl who is a non-believer but was opened and receptive to the gospel message. She was happy to take a selfie with me to signify this divine encounter.
4) An India couples who have been here for a few years already. The girl friend was most sceptical, but the boy appeared a good listener to the full gospel.
5) Philip another old man seemed to be a non-believer, but still let me share with him the full gospel.
6) Then I met up with an Indonesian young man who look like a little bit of Chinese blood. Just kicked start the issue but no time to finish but still able to leave a tract.
7) Two mainlanders took English tract but cut short the conversation.
8 ) Another two groups of Mainlander, first three girls then later a boy all appeared to be afraid of being seen for listening to gospel.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday July 4th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
It was a rainy day with down pouring all day long, but the team spirit of the Toowong Street outreach was not deterred an iota to give in stopping our weekly regular outreach. The rain did cause some inconvenience as people mood generally were no good and we have to struggle hiding away from the rain under the bus stop cover. Above all the energy and passion of Hao Qin was extraordinarily high to keep him rushing for any gospel target turning up at the bus stop. Johnny and Hung both had the understanding to give Qin the priority to make the first approach. Under those circumstances, Hung and Johnny both got less conversation. Hung however got a couple of interesting and important follow up conversation with some previous target checking on their status. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.
1) Teresa a devoted Catholic Christian who seriously rejects all protestant teaching but deemed that the catholic teaching handing down from Peter as the first apostolic authority teaching to the pop of each generation. I tried my best to point out the deficiency of Catholic teaching that still requires producing enough good deeds in earning the status of eternal life apart from the redemptive grace of Jesus. She simply shut her ears up refusing to listen to my side of story. So, I think I would not approach her any more in future at this very bis stop.
2) Jessie a local Aussie was open with a soft heart to listen to the full gospel.
3) A Local Aussie Nic we met last week was approached by Qin first but I took over the conversation to double check if he still has 100 % assurance of salvation. Praise be to the Lord he is all clear and promised to do likewise in the campus to share the gospel to others.
4) An ABC not knowing her parent’s country of origin but still was polite enough to let me share the gospel with her. Her Chinese is exceptionally good as she and other sidling were taught to speak Chinese at home.
5) An English-speaking girl possibly Korean was not willing to chat initially rejecting Johnny. a moment later, I approach her again to take a soft and friend making approach. It works and we started chatting though she still emphasizes our conversation should not be religious. But at the end, I still manage to start the gospel yet covering the nutshell when her bus came.
6) The last one was on Phone for a long long time till the bus came.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday June 207th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
What an amazing way God answered the prayer of Johnny to have at least even one member of his Church o come forward to join our Street Outreach. Johnny had even reached a point that he would not bother to share anything about evangelism, not to mention cross cultural outreach with his own church members. But this week Hao Qin just emerged out of the blue to join us today at Toowong and possibly tomorrow at Sunnybank. He is now a 2nd year MD student at BST and is now at the school term break fortnight. God moved him to join us today. He actually had prior street outreach practicum under Andrew Walkington of OAC who was tutor of a evangelism class by BST in 2021. So Hao once did street outreach at Sunnybank under the supervision of Andrew K. Now God moved Hao to come out from his comfort zone to join us today and possibly he is moved to form a gospel outreach team at Sherwood Methodist Church. So Johnny's prayer for more gospel workers will be greatly accomplish over his expectation.
Today the people flow was still low due to term break for UQ as well. But we still had enough opportunities to share the gospel to non-believers and to Christians helping them to remove doubt and secure their assurance of salvation in Christ. Today God gave me predominantly Christians and only one non-believers and amongst them 3 are Indians. Recap below is the battle log of Hung.
1) Grimson an Indian Catholic Christian. Just in time to check her assurance of salvation which was not established. No time to clarify in details but just affirm her that the moment she accepted Jesus, she should have already got back the Heavenly Citizenship through Christ sacrificial death taking our place to receive eternal death punishment.
2) Olivia the 2nd Indian girl, also declared a Catholic Christian and also clarified her assurance of salvation just in time when the bus arrived.
3) Ang an UQ postgrad student from Singapore now attending CCCCB at Lucia. He was the only person today that have clear and correct understand of assurance of salvation. It is in credit to his Christian family teaching at young age. He was impressed of our gospel work and is contemplating to join Power to Change to serve in the campus.
4) A Local Aussie Nic did not has 100 % assurance of salvation. It was clarified at length before the bus arrived.
5) Approached the 3rd Indian girl but just only had time to pass on to her a tract.
6) Hao Qin approached a Filipino Christian and did not know yet to pursue checking his assurance of salvation. Not of any surprise for most Catholic Christians from Filipino, he does not have assurance of salvation. I just barely have enough time to make a clarification in a nutshell.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday June 20th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
The Toowong Team remained to be reduced to two persons with Winnie staying at the Gold Coast to do her own street outreach at the same time. It was a comparatively quieter day as term breaks has just started. Nevertheless, we still managed to have non-stop opportunities to share the gospel both to same and cross cultural people. Battle log of Hung is recap as below: -
1) Korean, just only had time to hand out a tract when the bus arrived after a short briefing of the nutshell of the gospel.
2) The next was a postgraduate in Commerce from Shandong, Jinan We had a good start but our conversation was interrupted first by his friends greeting him across the main road, then he was complete occupied in a phone call. It was good It was good I still managed to leave him a tract.
3) Then I caught up with Georgia an Aussie girl originally from Carine but already settled down in Brisbane. She has not heard of the gospel before. And she found it rational and credible.
4) Next I connected with an Indian girl. She was polite and remained open to chat and listen to the Gospel though not too keen initially. At the end, she showed receptiveness, so pray that the tract will help her to capture the key gospel message.
5) Burk a Canadian born Chinese who preferred to chat in English. He is not religious but also showed reasonable receptiveness to the gospel message. He had no objection but his heart seemed not fully touched yet by the Spirit.
6) Lisa another Indian girl who showed great receptiveness to the Gospel message. She was very assertive on the idea that no human in the world is perfect as such she easily buy in the idea that we all need salvation by Jesus from the punishment of our imperfection in our life time,
7) Then I caught up with a girl by the name Zhang ?from Shanghai . She is OK for a Chat but you could feel she was keeping a distance from me.
8 ) Finally I chatted with the 3rd Indian girl Pussin today and she also appeared very open and receptive to the gospel message.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday June 13th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
Today, Winnie was not available again as such only Johnny and Hung teamed up for the Toowong outreach. God was having a very different path for Johnny focusing on one Chinese UQ student chatting for 80 % of his time and for me, in contrast I had 12 divine encounters though in majority were with Chinese people. Alex a local Aussie recognized me first sight and told me he was almost convinced and ready to make his last step of faith to accept Jesus. Recap is Battle Log of Hung Kwan.
1) Approached a couple of boy and girl friends from Wuhan the man was interested to chat while the girl kept a distance. Just finished the nutshell of the Gospel and gave away a tract at the end,
2) Then I approached next two tall guys from North eastern Province. Again, one showed interest to listen while the other kept a distance. One was ok
3) Then I connected with Cheung from HKG who had to rush for an appointment with friend at the Toowong Shopping Village. I volunteer to walk him to the pedestrian bridge and finished the nutshell of the Gospel, earning a selfie. ?
4) Then Alex a local Aussie recognized me and indicated he was very convinced by the message of the tract. meaning he is just a step away from final salvation.
5) Rejected by one lady but I was then led to the next Chinese girl.
6) A Chinese girl from mainland China, wearing mask because of sore throat had shown openness and finally receptive to the Gospel.
7) A mother visiting her UQ daughter from Mongolia. Both were opened to gospel and took tract afterward.
8 ) Two Filipino UQ students of Catholic background. They seemed to have no assurance of salvation.
9) Sri Lanka mature middle age man was a local staff of council here. He was happy to listen and took a tract.
10) Then I reconnected with Shroud from Brazil who claimed we chatted many times but seemed not yet catching the message. Gospel revised again.
11) Then I caught up with Zhang from Suzhou who was willing to listen.
12) Last but not the least, A young man from Beijing is a Biology under-graduated. . He showed good understanding of the gospel though hearing it for the first time.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
Today Winnie was sick so only Johnny and Hung did the outreach. More students turned up after the end of the 2 study weeks. Even though there were rejection cases. It was either with a empathetic reason i.e. under panic state struggling deadline for assignment submission, or the rejection was later softened to become a successful gospel sharing occasion. Intermittently, Johnny curiously asked again about the Turkey mission that without good Turkey language and no interpreter, if I can shared the gospel clearly. My answer is definitely a big YES. It it s climax of the manifestation of the mission power of the Holy Spirit. In His strength, all sorts of barriers can be broken to achieve His Will and Plan. Comparatively, the city street outreach is of a lesser degree of challenge, though we still face many opposition and rejection from time to time, which actually is part of the growth training for mature and committed apostolic Christians. Recap below is the Battle log of Hung.
1) I was led to approach first an Arabic from the Middle East. I could not recognize the name of his country but anyway the gospel was shared and a tract was taken when the bus came.
2) Then I was moved to approach a girl from Beijing She was originally very reluctant to have a chat with me as she said she had enough chat with us before and read the tact but found it not that appealing and important for her in the present stage of her life. The Holy Spirit however let me stay put and focus stressing if she find herself perfect , if not her acknowledgement of her imperfection readily verify that she like all good persons must have the need of Jesus as her saviour. Her attitude remained arrogant and indifference but I chose to let go and leave her along to deal with the questions I imposed to her.
3) A Malaysian girl who was very opened for a chat. She speaks many languages but unforntunately no good in Cantnese but full gospel was shared in English and Mandarin.
4) Kia Another Chinese girl who appeared more open and receptive to the Gospel.
5) Liao? a girl from Taiwan was also very keen to here the gospel for the first time. Pray for God's follow up.
6) Then I was moved to pick up Ahmet from Dubai again whom I had a long chat on Feb 14, 2023 about 3 and a half months ago. I could share with him my experience transiting Dubai to Turkey. He was amazingly opened to the gospel and could identify with the reflection brought by the Turkey earthquake that; human beings are too limited and vulnerable to face unpredictable natural disaster. We should not let slip the Chance for recognizing the real important life issue on addressing sin and judgment after death. He showed full endorsement to the gospel I shared and happily took a selfie with me. My prayer that I I could meet him again was answered to day. He is really just one step from making his action faith to accept Jesus.
7) Then a Sgp girl under panic state struggling deadline for assignment submission. I was empathy with her hardship so I leave her alone to deal with her study pressure first and pray for future 2nd chance for gospel.
8 ) Then I caught up with Koshi from Japanese. My greeting in Japanese drew us close together in no time. He was neither student of teacher of UQ, but simply at the right time, God let us meet. Gospel was shared and pray for God's follow up work.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday May 30th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
It was a hectic period for us as both the family of three of Amy, Josiah and Joshua all fallen sick with high temperature, sore throat and body rasp. And meantime Ivano was diagnosed with suspected relapse of cancerous polyp in the neck with Biopsy yet to find out if it is benights or vicious nature. Despite of all these hardships enduring by our beloved church family members, the duty to preach the Gospel has still to be discharged steadfastly and faithfully with ministry as usual. The team of four of Johnny, Winnie supported by husband Vincent and Hung still served as usual. It echoed with the down side of Amy and Ivano that more rejection and indifference reaction were experienced. We nevertheless still took all the hardship to embrace it with trust and faith and God's grace was still enough for us to made many useful if not very fruitful approach. The work of the Spirit of mission power was evidenced that many initial rejections were turned around to become a full gospel sharing outcome. My few approaches with initially unwelcoming non-believer all ended up with good reception of the message, especially the last one with a Hong Kong non-believer admitting he find the gospel message appealing after so many people moved by God to share with him. So, he happily accepted to take a selfie photo with me to signify his appreciation of our work for God.
1) A Bangladesh pair of father and son with opened mind and softened heart to listen to the gospel and took a tract to read afterwards.
2) An Indonesia man with a not so welcoming facial expression still showed patience to let me share half of the gospel when the bus came and he also accepted the tract and let God follow up on him.
3) Then a lady from Guangzhou initially rejected Winnie for a chat. I pray and felt moved to have a go and was successful through a softer approach identifying with her life in China and here in UQ. At the end, I shared the full gospel to her and she even took a tract. So, the work of the Spirit was evidenced softening her heart thoroughly.
4) An Indonesia Lady rarely show disagreement that good person is not enough to go to heaven. It was a pity; the bus came and I did not have time to check out her logic to see if she has the same sense of sine and punishment that no person can escape the judgement of God on not just our action but our fallen human character.
5) Then God gave both Johnny and Hung a test with an emotionless man completely ignoring our approach eswith not even a glimpse of his eyes on us treating us like empty air. It was still a God led approach for us to know to let go of such hopeless case.
6) Then God led me to interrupt a Pakistan Couple of Muslim faith. They are intelligent learner of the Muslim faith and also understand Christianity a bit. So, we had an interesting dialogue about original sin and if we need a saviour. Time only allowed us to touch of original sin, where most Muslim believe we are born sinless and perfect but only become sinner and lead a sinful life when we applied our freewill to do some transgression against God and man. For us we believe we were created originally good and perfect without blemish but ever since Adam and Eve sinned against God, the whole human race has since then fallen to become a fallen people and such identity if fallen human race with the expression of enemy of God will be inherited by any single new born human which is the so-called original sin we carried the moment we was given birth to this world. It may lead to the way how we sinner can be saved by Jesus dying for us to take our place for the eternal punishment we originally should bear ourself. It was a pity they had to go but again that Muslim guy politely took a tract to read and pray that we can have chance to continue with our dialogue.
7) An Italian origin Aussie girl got clarified for her Catholic faith that does not know we are saved by grace through faith in Christ as such she also has no assurance of salvation. She showed appreciation for our facts finding chat.
8 ) Finally a Hongkonger pagan big boy but was open to gospel and show great appreciation for me to be the one repeating the message of salvation to him. He seemed moved to seriously consider to make the last step of faith to accept Jesus as Saviour and took a selfie with me to allow me recognize him net time for follow up chat.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
Right after I conducted the funeral service for my late elderly member Percy Lee, I declined the Lee Family's invitation for lunch but rushed to join the Toowong Gospel threesome team. It was a blessed outreach with many fruitful conversations with both non-believers and nominal Christians who are not clear and sure about their assurance of salvation. It is always our belief that God is the one who elected, moved, and convicted people to humble, repent, and make the last step of faith accepting Jesus as our Saviour and Lord of our life. Recap below is Battle Log of Hung
1) I was led to approach a girl by the sure name Poon ?from Hong Kong. There was a sense of sadness on her face which I assume I understand her feeling of helplessness. Gospel is the ultimate solution for all the imperfection and corruption of this sinful world that accounted for the down turn of Hong Kong from an international city of freedom to an ordinary city of China. The edge we used to have for international trade and finance have all gone and replaced by Singapore. Anyway, as a Christian and gospel warrior, we are not to solve the human broken-down systems but to restore the kingdom of God on earth by proclaiming the gospel as far reach as possible to people of all nations.
2) Then I connected with a man from Serbia. He claimed he chatted with me before on April 4th and some of us had also chatted with him before and he was busy in doing some last-minute revision to his assignment so excused me from a chat last time. This time, we did have time to connect and claimed he is a Christian. His assurance of salivation is also 100% correct. He showed appreciation to our work for God and with God.
3) Then I caught up with a father who came to study Science in UQ and the daughter to do state school here. They are from Guangzhou and I am glad for them to be able to come to the open world to receive much better education here. Hope that the gospel trac will also bring them new hope in life.?
4) Then I approached a girl from Nepal who appeared a bit suspicious of what we were doing. Anyway, it was the election of God for us to approach her.
5) Ashi an Indian Hinduism follower but has remain a very open mind for Christian gospel. She admitted there is nothing she could argue with the rationality of the gospel and admitted we are all imperfect as such everybody is liable to ask for salvation by Jesus. She does have Christian friends and it appeared she is ripe for harvest at any time soon by the Will of God.
6) Aman a Canadian born Sikh coming to do medical study at UQ. Although he was born in the Western open free world, but because of family heritage, he was bounded by the culture to remain dressing as a Sikh with a typical long hair but wrapping up by head scarf. Though wise, he actually was still quite open and did not strongly reject Christianity. He accepted the rationale of the salvation mechanism designed by God, but still only treat it as one of the religious expressions that he is happy to understand but not changing his own Sikh faith. So the Bottomline is still about the election and predestination of God for any of us to be saved. All we can do is to faithfully share the Gospel in-discriminatively.
7) Grace, a lovely local Aussie girl with full gospel shared.
8 ) Copper, another fair dinkum local Aussie boy, hearing the gospel from the first time and showed interest and receptiveness to the Christian faith.
9) Then I was led to chat with a Singapore girl by the name Barden who looks of Indian origin. Just managed to give her an introduction and the bus came so just left here with a tract.
10) Tom a Christian of orthodox background who surprisingly has no idea about the salvation and why we can go to heaven. He is from NSW then moved to Toowoomba and now come down to study at UQ. He though he became a Christian upon his baptism which of course was wrong. I anyway managed to recount the nutshell of the gospel to him and left him a tract. I must pray for another time to wrap up all the confusion he has about the Christian faith.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Toowong on Tuesday May 16th, 2023 from 1330 – 1500
It was great to have Johnny re-joining us so quick, the next day after he returned to Brisbane from Taiwan. With three persons, we could cover more people at the bus stop of Toowong. We thank God to call and guide us to do street outreach which we think, is the most direct way to reach out to non-believers instead of evangelistic crusade meeting which often time have become a gathering of more Christian with a a few non-believers. By doing out reach regularly at a fixed spot, God started to let us see His continuant work leading us to meet up with people we chatted before for good and useful follow up. This exactly happened to me twice as per Battle Log recap below: -
1) I was led to approach Arak from Indonesia with every good English as he is a cross breed of a USA father and an Indonesian mother. Even though he is a Muslim, but he was very open to the gospel and admitted the salvation God rendered to save us is logical and sensible.
2) Then I chatted with A girl Wang ?from Shanghai who has just come for a year. Despite a mainlander, she also appeared open and receptive to the gospel message.
3) Then I briefly in contact with an Australian Born Indian girl for just a brief chat handling out to her a tract.
4) Jeremy is a Brisbane Local. He is a Catholic Christian and claimed to have chatted with Winnie from Gold Coast before. I anyway still managed to check his Assurance of Salvation which was not there but got clarified. He was delighted to take a selfie with me.
5) Then I approached another Mainlander man who appeared not a willing listener but still did not reject me to carry on with my gospel sharing.
6) Pie a girl from Thailand was a good and receptive listener of the Gospel. She was surprised to learn that Buddhism is not a religion but a religious education without worshipping any god head. She find the gospel message very sensible and appealing to address the issue of sin.
7) Then I was repeatedly declined by several persons who was either on the phone ort busy in some other things.
8 ) Finally I caught up with Philip who recognized me right away claiming I had a good long chat with him. I then did a revision on the gospel message and follow up on any issues that still pull him away from making the final step of faith. He was frank and all receptive to the gospel message I revised with him help him a step closer to the final faith decision.
