Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday 13/10/2021 from 1300 to 1500

Gary re-joined Johnny and Hung today at Sunnybank after spending time with family during the school holiday. He even came earlier to set up a new sign he made on the East side of the pedestrian bridge. Johnny and Hung joined him first in the East side for an opening prayer. Then we returned to the bus stop on the West side. Gary came over to join us for a while in the West side before he finished for the day. Basically, all of us had considerable number of chats with mixed result. After all, God reigned and the gospel message has been passed on to many non-believers and assurance of salvation be reinstated for many nominal Christians. Recap below are the battle log of Hung:

1) Young Aussie girl was too rush to stop for a chat. She anyway accepted my tract and listened for a short while the core of the gospel.

2) A catholic lady was also in a rush but she let me chat with her while we walk. She seemed to have good understanding of gospel knowing that it is by grace through faith in Jesus alone as her brother is a Catholic Priest.

3) Megan not Religious but have a good chat with a brief sharing of my personal testimony.

4) Then I chatted with a Chinese middle age lady who claimed to be a Buddhist. I identify with her that all religions are good but not good enough for us to earn our eternal life salvation by good deeds alone. She is a willing listener and agreed to read the tract and ponder on the gospel message shared to her. 中國中年婦女佛教,願聽

5) A group of people all with Tattoo came and I picked up one to chat. He tried to fence me off by claiming himself an atheist. I did not argue with him or tried to prove if God exist but simply shared the gospel with him. He appeared not settled to listen on as his friends are coming to meet. God anyway moved him to take a tract before they all left the bus stop. 紋身無神論,不願聊,但拿了單張

6) Mrs Liu another Mainlander but was humble to listen to the gospel until the bus came. 劉,大陸,客氣聽

7) Zag an aborigine man possibly with his mum. He tried to fence me of by declaring non-religious. But I could identify with him with my AMOS experience. We became more mutually acceptance when he told me his father is actually a Chinese from Hongkong core of the gospel Father is from Hong Kong. At the end, he heard the full Gospel before the bus arrived.

8 ) A Cambodia girl with excellent English and is studying at JMC Academy, a private college on communication and media. She was very friendly and talkative so I did not have enough time to finish the gospel but left her with the tract as the bus came just too fast.

9) Then God led me to have a long chat with Mrs Li from Hong Kong李太 , she came 30 years ago but returned to Hong Kong intermittently yet finally she returned to settle down in Australia again first in Sydney but then moved to Brisbane 1 year ago.香港三十年來去,God gave me time to finish the gospel message and went on to sharing my testimony and even my current status that I have peace despite of health issue.人生難料,信主才是萬全. She seemed to be greatly impressed with the joy and peace manifested in my life attitude.

10) Girl watch smart phone all the time and missed the chance to have a chat. 看手機不停,錯過

11) Emily a girl from Vietnam who appeared friendly despite she was interrupted by me from listening to music and went on with a very meaningful chat sharing the full gospel before the bus arrived.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Oct 6th 2021 from 1300 to 1500

It was still a warm early Spring but temperature already dropped to a pleasant level for open air outreach. It was still just Johnny and Hung teaming up to serve at the bus stop on the west side of the China Town complex near Sunnybank Plaza.

God started today with a test for us to have genuine compassion for homeless people who are at their most vulnerable status losing every personal possession but the worst is without hope to strive on to live as a human. Johnny started early before we met and pray to minister to Mit who was in obvious down and troubled mood with a reddish eye and a swollen foot. Johnny did his best to try to get the gospel message through but Mit was in no mood to listen kept trying to seek empathy of his miserable status. Johnny could not pick up fully his expression so had to let go and switch to another gospel target. God however moved me to have a second go to minister to Mit. After listening to his status, I first gave some suggestion to address some of his urging issue like replacing his lost driving license, then his credit card. I also made sure he did not miss the hospital follow up medical treatment on his infected foot. I identify with his current devastating status that need to start from zero. In the meantime, I reminded him not to lose sight of the more important eternal salvation but I did not dwell on this critical point but rather ended our conversation with a hearty prayer for him in the name of Christ to have mercy on him leading him out from the current wilderness dark night experience moment of his life. I then left him for another conversation and not later, I found he disappeared possibly got on a bus to make his first difficult step of rehabilitation of his ruined life.

After that, Johnny and Hung kept leading by the Spirit to make approach to the chosen ones and at time with complementary team work to refer gospel target to each other who speak the dialect. The Spirit also worked amongst us that we may pick up some ones that had rejected one of us but without our knowledge yet made it a successful second approach. In hint sight, it was all the credit of God’s work and we are just His vessel to do His Good Work as per Eph 2:10.

Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -

1) Mitchell is from Canberra with wife and children living at Caloundra. He lost all his possession at QE II during his hospitalization to treat his infected left foot. It landed him in award situation without identity, money and credit card. As described above I ended up praying for him with a hope to let him feel the love and care of God so as to reignite his hope to live.

2) Jack a middle age man from mainland 中國大陸. He was very talkative and a willing listener. He is not yet a believer but actually has been church going with many Christian friends. 很認同,有去教會. At the end he admitted the gospel I shared seemed very sensible, logical and acceptable. Just pray that God can remove the last barrier for him to make the last step of faith very soon.

3) Then the man I approached claimed he is a Marxist 馬克思主義者and a member of the CCP姓黨,He was not totally rejective claiming even CCP allow religious freedom 信仰自由,繼續聊 we kept chatting allowing me to share the core of the gospel to him and left it to God to do the rest.

4) Then I approach Mrs Yang from Mainland China. She was with her daughter so I started by giving the tracts to her daughter who likes the cartoon pictures. It earned me a chance for a long chat that appeared to be quite successful to get her admit the gospel message is all good and needed by everyone. 楊&女大陸願意聽

5) Mr Wong is an elderly man from Hong Kong for 20 years. He was referred to me by Johnny. As Hongkongers, we can identify with each other very well and the gospel message was passed on well, 王香港老人家來20年

6) Louis is from Brazil and appeared to be a very willing listener. It was good that I could share full gospel to him in time before the bus arrived. Have to leave the result to God.

7) Then I caught up with another Hongkonger Mr Chu. He looked much older than his age of 59. 朱59 攪笑。He kept interjecting while I shared the gospel for instance, who were those bad Guys in the gospel tract. To my surprise, he knew none of them. Anyway, I could only manage to share half the Gospel when the bus arrived.

8 ) Then I was rejected bluntly by an English-speaking man,but God had a plan B to move Johnny to make an 2nd approach with success.

9) I turned to another girl who was determined to say she had no need for the Gospel. I challenge was he so sure about issue of life eternity. She insisted then I let go.

10) Finally, another non-religious guy simply refused to chat or took a tract. It did not bother me a bit. As it is always God who is in full control.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Sept 22, 2021 From 1300 -1500

The windy weather died down today but a spiritual whirlwind sprouted up with spiritual warfare attack from all directions. It was reflected in the gospel targets we met. For Johnny, he had an apologetic exchange with a charismatic background Christian who happened to intrude into the mission field where Johnny and I were working at the Bus stop on the West side of the Sunnybank shopping complex. He was sensitive to the biased theology of the charismatic background Christian trying to show him that speaking in tongues is not a necessarily condition for some one to be saved. Yet this particular person even unknowingly exposed himself as some one who denied the efficacy of Jesus’ redemptive & atoning grace that more conditions must be met like speaking in tongues on top of what Eph 2:8-9 stated clearly that we are saved by grace through faith, it is not out of ourselves but it is the gift of God, and it is not out of our good deeds, so that no one will boast.

As for me I face a few spiritual attacks. First, while I was sharing the gospel to a young student, an English-speaking woman was watching besides us. Initially I thought she is a friend or guardian of this Local Aussie young boy. But actually, she is unrelated. She put up with my sharing with the young one for a moment but finally exploded with threatening word that I have no right to share gospel to this young boy. Of course, I did not check and possibly we all never did so to check the age of the gospel target. The boy himself was a very willing listener. He had very positive response to the gospel and even agreed with me that it is not about age or race that every one should need Jesus. He showed great receptiveness to accept Jesus as his saviour. Perhaps this agitated the dark side of this possible God hater lady to step up her intervention of our gospel conversation. At this time the bus came so we had anyway to end our conversation. So, I managed to take a photo of the back of the boy while he got on to the bus as a record of my battle log of our conversation. Yet in effect, that was not his bus so they stayed put at the bus stop. But that unhappy lady possibly spotted me taking photo of that young boy. She urged him to ask me to delete the photo. The young boy of course was pushed by that unrelated lady to check if I did take his photo. He actually was neutral to that and I of course made no argument but deleted the photo. Anyhow, I can only entrust this young boy to the hand of God to let the gospel seed still be planted and take positive effect despite of this spiritual Warfare attack.

Then God let me have a couples of good effective conversation with both a non-believer from Hongkong, then a Christian from Ghana which I will recap below. The second spiritual warfare attack came when I approached a Muslim from Africa. He cunningly played trick with me by asking me to give him $50 when I asked him the question if he considered himself a good person and has assurance to go to heaven because of his good deeds alone. Thanks God that the Holy Spirit signalled me right away that it was a trap. If I gave, he will laugh at me being stupid to give money to some one who may use it to buy drug. If I refused, he can blame you that I am not a good enough person to care for others need. So our gospel message is just lip service. I wasted no time to tell him if you do need help, I will not give you money but accompany you to buy whatever you need like a fast food meal or drink to satisfy your hunger. This Muslim guy of course could only laugh it off teasing himself to put up a test for me. He tried to down play the status and work of Jesus saying he was merely a good prophet after Mohamad who is the highest prophet for God. I then asked if he knew the reason Jesus had to come and what he had done for all human? He of course cannot deny the work of Jesus dying for all of us on the cross and went to hell defeating Satan, conquering the dark power of death, and taking the places of all sinners who are willing to repent and accept Jesus as their savour. I asked the Muslim guy did you object to this historical and biblical truth about Jesus and he said no. Then I asked him if Mohammad did likewise to provide an effective redemptive salvation with 100% atoning effect to us by dying for us. He of course say no. So I told him, I don’t care how and where you put Jesus as a prophet or not, if he is behind Mohammad but actually Jesus was born before Mohammad. I only need you agree and accept Jesus as the only Saviour for all sinners. The Holy Spirit had been working along side and had changed the attitude and manner of this initially arrogant man but softened his heart to at least having a rational and sensible dialogue with me. At the end, he seemed to have turned into a friend rather than a foe and took a selfie with me to signify the work of the Holy Spirit and the glory of God helping me to fence off wave after wave of Spiritual warfare attack from within and without.

Summarized are the main conversations I had today which was cut short because of all the spiritual warfare taking place.

1) A very aggressive English speaking woman interfering my gospel sharing with a young boy at the Bus stop as elaborated above.

2) Paul is from Hong Kong who has just graduated from Uni and is about to return to Hon Kong. 香港長談I asked him why he chose to go back while heap of people are trying to leave Hong Kong. It set off our very long conversation and thanks God the bus did not come too early to interrupt our conversation. I did not just share the gospel but my personal testimony of salvation showing that God has a plan for each and every one of us. He rationally agreed the gospel is rational and all sensible but he opined that, faith is not a matter of facts and rational thinking activity, it is a special conviction by the supreme being, or the Holy Spirit. He felt this moment has not yet arrived but he certainly will pay good attention to catch this special moment of faith. My testimony of spending 40 years to receive Christ is a good reference of the timing of God that it is always in His hand and I can only pray that it will come the sooner the better for Paul my fellow Hong Konger.

3) Victor is a Fair dinkum Christian from Ghana who quickly was diagnosed with 100% assurance of salvation. We had very good fellowship and discussion to ask why most Christians fail to have 100% assurance of salvation. It was possibly they don’t have a complete & full understanding of the three fold deliverance of God as per 2 Cor 1:10. It was a pity I did not have time to take a selfie with this very liked minded Christian.

4) Dim a Muslim from Africa or M.E., who tried to make fun of me and Christianity but turned out to become a friend submitting to admit Jesus is the only Saviour not Mohammad the greatest Prophet even placed ahead of Jesus. For details, please referred to sharing above.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday 15/9/2021 from 1300 – 1500

Today, only Johnny and Hung were available for the weekly street outreach in Sunnybank. The wind had subsided and the weather was fine. But it was a comparatively bad day, especially for me. We started at the normal favorite West side Bus Stop but faced many rejections if not complete ignorance. So Johnny decided to switched to the East side where we used to serve half a year ago. Johnny had more luck and I got a few chances. Overall speaking, it was a comparatively quiet day. Nevertheless, it was not without the plan and will of God to teach us to remain faithful and preserve through harder time.

Recap below were my divine encounters: -

1) Rejected or simply ignored by an Indian man. Not even willing to take a tract.

2) Had a comparatively long chat with an old lady who claimed having got our tract before. Surprisingly she agreed that we are not perfect. But the way to go to heaven is still by doing more good work to please the God heads from her Chinese ethnic religion 天道教point of view. She once rejected the idea of atoning grace that non one can take our place to receive eternal punishment. I agreed because no human being is perfect so no one can take the punishment for us. But Jesus is God incarnated as the perfect human being as such He has the capacity to die for us and take our place to receive the punishment of our sins. The bus came and I can only pray for God’s further work on this old lady.

3) Then I chatted with a Chinese guy whom Johnny chatted with him last time. He was pleased to let me refresh and reinforce the gospel message to him.

4) A local Aussie rejected to chat and declined to take a tract. But I was empowered by the Spirit to keep the conversation alive with the man listening. At the end, the Spirit softened his heart to take a tract from me.

5) A Judgmental religious extremist first argued with Johnny and after a while was picked up by me on the East side. He opined that there is no good persons in the world and we are all sinners. This is theologically correct though we still deemed ordinary person without committing and convictable crime a good person. He further pushed that no one can go to heaven unless you suffered with Christ which makes the salvation conditional on our work to suffer for Christ’s sake. His theology was all confused and his religious following is unclear.

6) A Chinese Christian girl who has 100% assurance of salvation faith.

7) Emily claimed she chatted with us year ago and got a tract. So, I did follow up chat to refresh her memory which she was in full agreement.

8 ) Hannah another Christian girl who have deep faith in God. But when asked about her assurance of salvation, she failed to show 100% and not able to explained why we are saved. But with a bit of explanation, she got the perfect understanding humbly at the end with great appreciation for our chat.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday September 8th , 2021 from 1300- 1500

Today Gary, Johnny and Hung teamed up to do street outreach at the bus stop of the Sunnybank Plaza side. Ratio of outreach today was mainly Chinese being over 50%, I got conversation particularly with more than 4 Cantonese speakers from either Quanzhou or Hong Kong. Basically, we all had been kept occupied most of the time but with some gap for me and Johnny to have a chat of each other ministry.

Recap below were my personals Battle Log: -

1) Jobbie* a local Aussie girl who was receptive to the gospel. she is not a Christian but she can name Jesus as the key figure for granting us the redemptive grace. Pray for God's further work on her heart.

2) A Korean Christian girl quickly declared her faith status. I wasted no time to test her assurance of salvation which surprisingly is only 50%. I only have very short time to turn around her mis-conception.

3) Die heart Cantonese speaking ABC appeared quite open for a chat, but when we switched back to chat in English , he became more expressive to discard the existence of God and insisted being a good person is good enough. I could only lead him to self examine if he considers himself good and perfect that God may have nothing to discipline and lodge punishment. I only pray that God will one day wake him up to realize his real life status.

4) Chester a Muslim lady who was very polite asking me to wait for her to finish her phone talk. And when I was about to move on, she took the initiative to get into conversation to me. Despite she is a Muslim follower, she is quite tolerance to other religious and is of the will that following the teaching of respective religious faith to be a good person would be good enough for heaven. It at least being Good as a non-religious person is better than religious one but doing bag thing. It was a pity that time was up for me to explain good is not good enough unless we are prefect, otherwise we all face the issue of Judgement after death. She sincerely wished we can meet and chat in another time.

5) A PNG big guy appeared very friendly but I only have less that half a minutes to brief him the core message of the gospel.

6) A Christian lady attending Toowong answered my diagnosis question completely correct. 道旺姊妹百分百得夠確據,I further asked her despite we have 100% assurance of salvation, as a born again and redeemed Christian, we are still not yet perfect, how could it be able to harmonize with the ultimate requirement of God to demand us to be a perfect being as God is effect. 未完美,神仍因基督. Then I introduced to her the concept of three fold salvation that it was the holistic plan of God to grant us the assurance of salvation before we are perfect simply on the basis of Jesus 100% effective atoning grace to die for us paying for our sin. With this first step of deliverance setting us free from the bondage of sin and reconnecting back with God thru Jesus, God can trigger the current deliverance to transform us back to perfect through the work of the Holy Spirit to guide and lead us to learn from our innocent mistakes. Then God will save us from mortal death by granting us a new body upon Jesus 2nd coming. The time for above explanation was too short and I pray that we can reconnect some time in future.

7) Then I connected with a young lady of Buddhism faith 佛教。When asked the question is being a good person alone is good enough for heaven, she immediately proudly said yes as she is exactly a very loving caring volunteer to help out the needy ones in the society.好事,未夠時間. It was a pity there was not enough time to elaborate further because of the arrival of the bus.

8 ) Then I connected with a Filipino woman who admitted she is a Catholic Christian but is now attending protestant Christian Church. I simply have no time to check her assurance of salvation.

9) The I bumped into the 4th Cantonese speaking people Mr. Chan 陳,from Hong Kong 香港,he is not a believer 非基,though attended Christian primary school 小基 having basic bible knowledge, he appeared receptive 接受 to the gospel message shared but need some time and space to ponder for his ultimate decision if he would accept Jesus as his Savior.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday September 1st, 2021 from 1300 – 1500

The First day of Spring signifies a new beginning for open air outreach. Queensland is still by far the safest State with zero cases for three consecutive days. We are looking forwards to further easing down of restriction but with or without mask, our street evangelism will still be carried out without and blockage. Today the Holy Spirit basically guided only Chinese speaking people for me while Gary and Johnny still had many cross-cultural outreaches. That is a proof that it is God’s own work as such will be carried out according to God’s agenda. Recap below were the divine encounters I got.

1) A couples from Shanghai China who have migrated to Australia for a long while. I jokingly said it was a divine appointment that we met finally after 20 odd years. Time did not allow me to share the full gospel to Mr Chao but I left him with tracts to read. 趙上海移民夫婦

2) Then I was recognized by a lady by the name of Leung who is member of the Kedron Brisbane Cantonese Christian Church. I chatted a while about their church pastor recruitment status and I attempted to do a diagnosis of the Assurance of Salvation but I did not have enough time for it. Basically, she has some mixed understandings that might need a bit of clarification. 梁美玉布粵不太清淅

3) Then I approached a Chinese lady who had rejected Johnny. But thanks God that she let me share even the full gospel before the bus come. 中女,曾拒絕,最後聽完整全福音

4) A woman from Quang chou, China recognized my accent as such volunteered to speak in Cantonese with me. She was open for a chat, but her mind was stereo typed that being a good person would be OK and she has never done any bad things. Can only pray to God to soften her heart. 廣州婦女,堅持做好人,沒做過壞事

5) Yvonne claimed she has had chatted with many of us and gave tribute for our faithfulness to share the gospel to non-believers. But she does not regards herself as Christian while accepting a triune God. It was a pity I did not have time to cross check her redemptive faith and assurance if salvation. 有神論,欣賞

6) Then I bumped into a group of Cantonese speaking women group of middle and elderly ages, It was hard to share the gospel with every one chatting with each other’s. I anyhow still managed to pass tracts to a couples of them and let God do the rest. 香港人婦女團體

7) Salina from One heart Church greeted Johnny again. I took over to ask about her church general status and tried to introduce Kairos to her. 合一教會

8 ) Then Allan Li cam to find us after his interview with the Terry White Pharmacy Shop. It was good he has the heart to come to render support to us.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on 25/8/2021 Wednesday from 1300 to 1500.

We were glad to have Gary joining us as the regular Sunnybank team. He made and brought a new green Sign being set up on the East side where he used to take position to serve. Johnny and Hung took our position on the West side at the Bus stop. Sunnybank is always a mission field for Chinese mostly from mainland and some from Taiwan, there are also other Asian people like Vietnamese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean. But today I met consecutively many Cantonese from Hong Kong and a rare people group from Nepal.

The two UQ students were from Hong Kong and both have graduated looking for job. They have similar Christian background but both have slipped back from their original faith in God because of their focus was shifted on to other secure target like more time for Uni study and subsequent needs to look for job to earn more money for coming to further their study in Australia. It was a pity I did not have enough time after deeper catching up about their background to clarify with them the core Christian faith and where they have missed the point about God making the Christian faith a lower priority of their lives pursuance target.

Another significant conversation was with a girl who took our tract and had a chat with one of us. I followed up on the impact of the tract on her which unfortunately was only very trivial. I virtually went over the gospel once again and asking her to respond if she thought she is not only a good person but a perfect one that have no need to worry about God’s judgment after death. She of course could not make this assertion. So I hope I have heightened her self-awareness of her vulnerable sinful status that could only be turned around to be saved by grace through faith in Christ.

Apart from same culture evangelism, I also had chance to share gospel with people from Nepal, Vietnam. Both appeared very opened and receptive to the gospel leading them a step closer to the ultimate salvation faith.

Summarized are the 8 divine encounters:

1) A Chinese Couples 一對華語夫婦with the wife a very determined rejecter forbidding her husband to chat and take our tract. Gary made a second approach but still failed.

2) Wai 偉 the first UQ student met from Hong Kong香港,迷失基督徒, 求主保守He once was a fervent Christian but now become a lukewarm one.

3) Vincent the 2nd UQ student I met from Hong Kong. He has also slipped back from his initial faith in Christ.

4) An elderly woman from Hong Kong香港老太,

5) A girl from China we chatted before.女孩,收過單張,再講一次

6) A lady from Nepal

7) Mr So 蘇 from Taiwan surrounded by Christians but still has not yet committed to receive Christ. Johnny took over to chat with him in Taiwanese.

8 ) Crystal an Australian Born Vietnamese and her friend. Only she engaged in the gospel chat positively with genuine interest and appeared very receptive.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday 18/8/2021 from 1300 – 1500

Praise and thanks God that Johnny and Hung resumed Street Evangelism at Sunnybank today ever since the lock down a month ago. We stationed at the Inbound (North bound) Bus Station on the West side. Comparatively, we could approach more Chinese people than people of other nations. Both Johnny and Hung got many long chats that could have brought significant impact to the Gospel hearers. May God’s sovereign power be working effectively to accomplish His Will in the lives of those whom we approached today.

Recap below are the nine Gospel Conversation of Hung.

1) A Serbia orthodox Christian lady was pleased to have a chat after she asked help from us. She was talkative and friendly. She doesn’t like doctrinal talk and does not care if she has assurance of salvation. Simple faith in God is enough for her. Obviously, there are room for better understanding of assurance of salvation. It was a pity the bus came too quick to cut our conversation short as such I missed the chance to know more about orthodox Christian faith status.

2) Then I caught up with an old lady from Hong Kong of Buddhism background. I turned out to be a listener first to her unhappy life in the past. I only had very little time to introduced the gospel of peace and joy to change her mind set.

3) Then Johnny referred a Senior Couple from Guangdong 廣東老夫婦 who obviously are Cantonese speaking. They have Christian relatives. 有親人信主,and they have not objection to the gospel message admitting everyone is sinner as such we all needs Jesus.對福音沒反對. They just need a bit more push from the Holy Spirit to lead them to Christ.

4) Another Chinese lady who was willing to listen to the gospel 中國婦女願聽,It was a pity the bus came too quick.

5) Then I met a Norwegian Christian lady who knows that no one can go to heaven because we have sin. I bet she should be very clear about assurance of salvation.

6) Bell is a Filipino Young Christian of Catholic background. He initially did not want to chat, but God softened his heart to let me share with him and did find that his concept and understanding of salvation is not clear reflecting on his lack of assurance of salvation. He thanks me after listening to my clarification.

7) Two Indian women both show no interest and declined my approach for a chat.

8 )  Approached an PNG looked man who claimed Johnny had approached him before.

9) Finally , I had a very long chat with Mr Zheng from Shandong.鄭山東人. He has lived in Australia for 20 years and lived around SIC. 來20年住南宣附近,through our chat, he appeared to be a religious person despite he has not yet officially received Christ. But he admitted that all human have offended God and we must lead a God fearing pious life to have real inner peace. Pray that he will make up his mind to join SIC in His time.

Praise and thanks God that Gary resumed street outreach today at Sunnybank by himself. I was not aware of his decision to go out there again. So I can only join him next week with or without mask. He reported "Back to an old fishing hole again today for outreach. Pray that those who heard the gospel way of salvation see and comprehend it. He (Jesus) lay aside his Glory - a gift for all."

Anyway, both the Chinese Churches in the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast have decided to resume outreach respectively tomorrow at Southport in the vicinity of Australia Fair 1300 to 1430 and at Mooloolaba near the Surf Club at 1030 - 1200 on Friday.

May the Spirit of God be with His faithful servants enclothing them with the glory and protection of God in the form of the full armour of God.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday June 23, 2021 from 1300 to 1500

Today our team was down back to the regular three , namely Johnny, Gary and Hung. Gary set up signs on both side of the road and he took position first on the Sunny Park East side of the bridge and Johnny & Hung worked together on the Sunnybank Plaza side at the bus stop with Gary joining us towards the ending hour of our ministry. It was a normal day with both rejections and some good chats with local Aussies, Korean, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese Australian born younger generations. We also met with Islamic people from East Africa, and Uygur of China and Hinduism people from India and Sri Lanka. So thanks and praise God to use us to be the light of the gentles of all nations. Recap below is my God led conversations.

1) Kalim is from an East African country he did want to disclose. He possibly is a Muslim but appeared very open to my sharing of the Gospel showing good receptiveness. He showed complete understanding of the Gospel and what Jesus did to die for us to take our place to receive the punishment of our sin. It would have been just a step away from receiving Jesus by grace through faith.

2) Helen a middle age lady from Shanghai and greeted me with warm smile claiming that she chatted with me a few month ago as such she fully recognized me. I then asked what was her result of reading the tract. She said she actually understood and in agreement with the gospel message that we all need Jesus to cleanse of our sins. Though she has not yet received Christ, she did attend church sporadically when she was in Sydney with her mum and brothers who are all church going Christians. After moving to Brisbane living near Garden City, she has been trying to look for a church. I recommended her to attend either the Sunnybank District Baptist Church or the South Side International Church both with a large Mandarin congregation with majority of members from China. She promised to make a move to join the church and let’s pray for her action of faith.

3) Kui kui is a student from Shanghai. He is an atheist rejecting to discuss anything about religion. But he still was willing to chat when I changed the approach to treat the Good Person question an a significant life issue, although he appeared very cool and emotionless while listening, God did soften his heart to follow the logic of the gospel message with no resentment. He finally took the tract when the bus came and pray for God’s continuous work on him.

4) Daniel a local Aussie who is Christian though not a church goer disguising as a non-Christian to hear what I was going to share with him. As soon as I knew he is a Christian, I posed the two diagnosis questions to check his assurance of salvation and he got it all right. So, he is a fair dinkum Christian but stopped going to church as a result of moving around for jobs. He admitted it is no good to not attend church and again I recommended both SDBC and SIC which he both had attended lately. I hope our long conversation would encourage and mobilize him to find a church for regular attendance.

5) Then I spoke to a Taiwan lady who appeared clam with not much emotional expression but politely listened to the gospel till the bus came. I could not be sure if she found the gospel appealing or not and I could leave it all to God.

6) Paul an Australian born Korean yet not a Christian. He has no religious view so again I share the Tract of “Are you a Good Person?” as an important life issue. He followed the logic and could not disagree with the assertion that we are all sinners that need Jesus as our saviour. Pray again for God’s follow up work.

7) Peter yet another Australian born Taiwanese. He actually had listened to our gospel sharing with other people around so he could give his responsive comment. Again, he could not argue the statement that we are all sinners needing Jesus as our Saviour. I asked him to read the tract and seek God’s revelation to guide his last step of faith to receive Christ as his personal Saviour.

( 8 ) Finally I approached a Uygur lady who answered me she is Chinese and was nominated to come to study as such she has a lot of constraint and restriction including not touching upon Christianity or other world religion. Despite of her outright rejection to hear the gospel, I still got a friendly short chat knowing above details about her but she still eventually chose to end the conversation and move away to avoid me. Pray that this unsuccessful approach still would bear God’s plan and will for that Islamic background young lady during her stay here in Australia.
