Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday March 9th, 2022 from 1300 to 1500

Hurrah, God moved and called a new blood to join me and Johnny, the Street outreach squad at Sunnybank. She is our new Pastor Amy Lin Yao. I did not push her to join me right away, even she has done the Kairos Course. She initially was not so sure if she can deliver her duty as the Pastor of CFC by joining me right away on the street. Because she must have observed that my Street gospel ministry have not brought too many additional members to the church. Yet, God finally enlightened and moved her to join me today at Sunnybank. It is after all one of the measures to outreach to people that God may lead us to meet with each other.

The weather is still warm but much better than yesterday which was scorching hot with hot wind. I briefed Amy in the beginning that at the bus stop situations, our gospel conversation will bound to be short and frequently interrupted by arriving bus. So, we must adjust ourself to share the core of the gospel in shortest time frame, and leave the result to God. But our God of humour gave Amy a special divine encounter with a senior man of atheist background. He was there actually waiting to meet with his wife to take bus home, but arrived a bit too early as such they chatted for almost an hour, which is very rare in this bus stop situations. God made use of Amy’s likeability gift to let the senior man felt at ease to share his heart out with Amy which in turn let Amy gained the opportunities later to share him the Gospel. The affinity or approachability character of Amy really give her an edge to approach even some difficult persons. In short, I could see God really handholding Amy to get adapted into this challenging Street Outreach ministry with a very good beginning. I pray that she will hold on steadfastly when God let hers encounter more reject and despise from some stone heart persons that will not intimated our drive but encouraged us to grow in faith by hop and bound.

On the other hand both Johnny and I had our fair shares to preach the gospel to many people of different nations. Recap below is my Battle Log: -

1. First, I approached an old Cantonese Couples 老廣東 from Hong Kong. They were not keen at religion but I rightly tell them it is a life and death issues more significant than any form of religion that everybody should take heed of it especially people like them and me whose days are numbered on this earth. I was able to carry on to share just the nutshell of the Gospel before the bus came.

2. 印度Ire a mature young Indian lady who appeared very friendly to chat about religions. After I rushed through the core of Gospel, she was impressed and promised to think deeply at home by reading the tract.

3. Then I caught up with Marty who claimed that I had spoken with him before at Toowong. He claimed he is a Christian but I nevertheless still went thru the nutshell of the gospel and test for his assurance of salvation which as expected , he failed. Thanked God I still have just enough time to clarify with him why eh should have 100% of assurance of salvation.

4. Tim is Australian born but his parents are from Gambia , West Africa. He appeared very confused with his own faith status claiming he flip flop between Catholic and Christianity. So unsurprisingly, he failed the test of 100% assurance of salvation. Again, just in time for a clarification before the bus came.

5. Ashin is a young Indian girl professing Hinduism. But again, like Ire, she appeared very opened mind to listening to sharing of the gospel. And she also admitted that the doctrine of save by grace through faith in Christ is sound and logical to accept.

6. Then I caught up with a Hongkonger couples who has just returned back from HKG to Australia in the capacity of an Aussie Citizen. They avoided attributing the return to the Hong Kong deteriorating social and economical status. Then the bus came and I could only left with the husband a tract. Pray that we may meet again here.

7. Two Christian Aussie girls let me shared with them the whole gospel as if they had not heard it before but then declared both are Christians after I finished. When I tested for their assurance of salvation, they utterly had no idea how to answer. So very apparently, they are the typical nominal Christians who have no assurance of salvation. I use all my force to clarify why but it seemed to have offended them by exposing their weakness or ignorance. Both left on the excuse they found out they are on a wrong bus stop that God did nothing wrong to bring them here for a chat with me.

8. Liu from China is a very rational mind young man from Mainland China but he also found the gospel sensible and logical despite of his atheist back ground. He promised to ponder taking a both rational decision but by faith to accept Jesus as his Saviour and Lord of his life.

9. Lastly, I caught up with another two girls from China coming here for study. They were polite to let me share though not with a real genuine interest. But God’s election was apparent to let them stop and listen until the bus came.

10. I almost missed out another Senior Hongkonger who initially pretending he did not under English or Chinese (Mandarin). But later on I found he is a Cantonese speaking person. He is totally non-interested in anything religious at all. But I just showed him the action love by helping him to find our the right bus stop for him to go to Garden City which is around the far corner on Zemina Street off Time Square. He found to too troublesome to go there so he changed his mind to go home directly. I anyway still earn his trust and was able to share the nutshell of the gospel to him.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday 23/2/2022 from 1300 to 1500

After 7 weeks of rest because of both the Omicron outbreak and my medical treatment issues, we returned to the Sunnybank Street outreach field today with the three regular team mates, Johnny, Gary and Hung all turning up. The human flow was tended to be much less than normal. But all of us still got ample of chances to share the gospel to people of all nations. Gary as usual bought along his big signs to attract attention of both the pedestrians and the car drivers. We had a fruitful resumption of ministry and finished it in time just before the projected afternoon rain fall. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -

1. A Chinese Mum caring a young daughter, but still willing to listen to the Gospel I shared and took tract home. At least the nutshell of the gospel has been covered when the bus arrived. 中國母親和女兒光聴

2. Catherine a Catholic background Filipino Christian, yet has basic and correct understanding of the gospel with hundred percent of assurance of salvation. She appeared humble to listen though at time might seemed a bit impatience.

3. A Chinese young lady from North-Eastern China東北姑娘,She was very polite有礼貌 showing courtesy to listen to the gospel and admitted it is sensible and logical that she may ponder to pursue.

4. Ash, an Algeria Muslim parent but of atheist background. He became Christian in Australia and is now attending a Baptist church in the park with the boy scout hall. Yet he only has 50% of assurance of salvation, so I had to rush to give him a clarification which was just in time before his bus arrived.

5. Then I followed up on a Chinese senior person that Gary had contacted. It was Mr Li who claimed to have a chat with me here before. Then I recalled he was invited by a friend to attend a local church which happens to be Ruth Liao 廖牧師church with the Wesleyan Denomination.李先生,He is from Shen Zhen 深圳so he understands a bit Cantonese but could not speak. Unfortunately, he only have 50%of assurance of salvation that need my clarification.解釋. He thought he is readily a true Christian as such kept asking me to share with others. Of course, I stayed put to get him know that his lack of 100% assurance of salvation is a loophole that Satan will attack him that it must be addressed and clarified.

6. Paul, a Filipino initially reject ed my approach but while I chose a friendship approach, he then changed to become a good listener of the full gospel.

7. Christie and his girlfriend seems like a couple. They react friendlily to my approach with high chance that they are Christians. But time left was too short to elaborate on the gospel as the bus came almost instantly.

8. Jerry from China has some Christian friends but has never heard the gospel formally. He was very attentive and serious this time to take in the gospel message and promised to ponder at home for a faith action.

9. A tall guy who is an Australian born Vietnamese showed good interest to the gospel. I could only manage to share him the nutshell as the bus also came too quick.

10. Finally, I caught up with two girl named黃 & 李 who are from the southern part of China. 南方大陸人.The showed reluctance to listen to my sharing of full gospel.勉強聽完整福音 Pray for God’s follow up work.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday January 5th, 2022 from 1300 - 1500

Today I teamed up with Gary who volunteered to resume our regular Street Ministry at Sunnybank. Actually, he started readily yesterday to put up signs to attract people’s attention around his home as there were congestion everywhere because of long queue for Covid-19 testing amidst the outbreak of Omicron in Qld.

Today, there was apparent less human flow at the Sunny Plaza side bus stop that used to be full of people. But it was good enough for me and Gary to handle one after the others with intermittent rejection cases. Recap below is Battle Log of Hung. And thanks be to Gary taking many photo for me while I was sharing the gospel.

1. First, I approached a Thai lady who claimed to have received our tract, but when I asked if she had read it at home then she said she did not as she is a pious Buddhist thus not felt right to read tract of other religion. I quickly endorsed that Buddhism and many other religions are good but only good at teaching people to be a good man. None of them address the issue of sin like Christianity. Sin must be punished and Jesus is the only hope for sinners including all the Good Persons, to have taken over the punishment of our sin as such we are deemed clean and right for reconnecting with God to let Him start the life. transformation work in us through the work of the Holy Spirit. Her bus arrived and she had to go but showed great appreciation for my clarification and explanation of the issue of salvation.

2. Then I approached a Muslim lady with a cross breed son who was a bit sceptical in the beginning but turned friendly to hear the gospel. Yet I did not have enough time to share but just left her with the conclusion that no one can go to heaven unless you are perfect.

3. Oliver is an ABC with parents from China. He listened patiently for my gospel but disclose he is readily a Christian. When I tested for his assurance of salvation and it was astonishingly 100% despite, he does not attend church. So, the good biblical teaching must be from his parents yet they also have stop attending church. So, it was a mystery about the real spiritual status of this Christian family.

4. Another Chinese look young man initially rejected both Gary and me. But, after a short while I tried to have casual chat with him for ice breaking, then our flood gate of conversation was opened to allow me to share my testimony first then the gospel how I was saved by grace through faith in Jesus. He actually is a Vietnamese having lived in Australia for 8 years and is now an Aussie citizen. His attitude changed from indifferent to deeply drawn to the life changing God. This obviously was the work of God.

5. Then I caught up with possibly another Vietnamese lady but the bud just arrived when I was about the start out gospel conversation. She anyway happily took a tract and promised to read at home. I pray that she will not put it aside with the same thought that she is a Buddhism girl as such Christianity is not right for her.

6. Cooper an elderly Samoan lady who quickly declared she is a Christian. I then checked her assurance of salvation which was not quite correct claiming she will go to heaven by complying with the ten commandment. So her faith was built on work rather than grace through faith in Christ. After clarification, she was glad to find out and understand that her basis of salvation is completely dependent on Jesus.

7. Liz a young UQ student from Ching Xin, China重慶 who was rejective initially,最初拒絕,but later after ice breaking chat that I identified with her home town that I once went there for earthquake relief in 2018, she turned very friendly right away and let me share my life testimony as well as the gospel which finally she admits she need to explore and ponder on the implication to her life.

8. Li 李,another young UQ student from Shanghai China.上海姑娘. Again, I identified with her birth place that I once was the pioneer visitor from Hong Kong almost 50 years ago. She was drawn into my life with the presence and guidance of God. So She left as another happy girl readily with the seed of Gospel sowed in her heart.

9. Then I turned around to speak with another girl from main land China. I was not aware of her boyfriend initially while I had very good and interactive conversation with her. Thanks God that only after I finished sharing that her boyfriend reacted irrationally, grasped the tract I gave to the girl from her hand and rudely thrown them into the garbage bin 。The girl was embarrassed for what her boy friend had done but remain polite to le t me wrap up our conversation with a blessing for her the humble and willing listener.

10. Finally, a Chines man who had just taken an English tract from Gary but was OK to chat with me about the tract. Yet the bus came to cut off this conversation, so just pray the tract will do the job

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Dec 15, 2021 from 1300 to 1500

The Weather turned cooler today and we had Gary, Johnny and Hung teaming up for the regular street outreach. Andrew also came to day to hand out tract and we had good fellowship in Christ to support each other’s ministry. My gospel targets were predominantly Chinese/ Asia with only one African girl and a local Aussie, otherwise the rest were mainly Chinese with one Thai girl and two Vietnamese. I continue to use the Christmas theme of Jesu birth to become a perfect man to die for us in order to bring us real eternal inner peace with God and in Christ. This can best be represented by the oldest English carol – God rest ye merry, Gentleman or ladies. The word “merry” is an old English word meaning not just as happy but a kind of power from Christ that can bring us peace and real joy living a free life without any more fear.

Meantime, God also led Hung to have special encounter with a Kairos graduate with her boyfriend Richard Liu before the outreach and then meeting with Allan Li after the outreach . May God’s plan and Will be done.

Recap below was the Battle Log of Hung.

1. A Mask woman agreed with my sharing about the need to be free of fear.

2. A modern lady was too proud to even listen

3. A Vietnamese woman claimed to have difficult to communicate in either Chinese or English, but ended up still taking all the Tracts I offered and seemed to understand the core of the gospel message I shared in English.

4. Sia from Sierra Leone is a Christian with clear understanding of the gospel message and full assurance of salvation despite she is attending a Catholic Church. She chatted with Johnny previously, so she only greeted Johnny without any conversation. But I was moved to have a long chat with her to check on her status of faith which to my delight is good and accurate.

5. I had a brief chat with Vietnamese man as his bus came quite quick

6. Another Chinese lady with mask felt ok to have a long chat with me and seemingly receptive to the gospel and in same consensus that living without free is the reason we have peace, joy and hope which is represented by the word Merry in the olden form of English.

7. A Thai girl Fiona looks like a local Aussie who listened to my gospel message very attentively and appeared very receptive. So I was a bit surprised to find out she is a Thai girl form a Buddhism country.

8. Wayne is a very lowly living guys with a shirt having torn and broken by great area but fixed with many safety pins. His situation seemed even worse than many homeless people and he obvious is with mental health issues that normal people will avoid contacting him. I met him two weeks ago and he recognised me and remembered me assuring he is a good person but still needs God to make him clean and sinless. I took a full body photo to let you see he is a happy guy with Christ despite wearing the worse broken dress.

9. Chen a young man who was a very humble listener and took in the gospel message very well

10. Wayne the last young man I met was also very attentive and receptive to the gospel.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Dec 8, 2021 from 1300-1500

I was not able to join the Street Outreach to day as I had a day surgery at Sunnybank Private Hospital. Johnny originally had arranged Winne to come to partner with him. Yet he suddenly was not able to come for some personal matter. However, Winnie was already half way to Brisbane. So Winnie for the first time did outreach by herself while her husband went to do shopping. She encountered many rejections, but God was graceful enough to let her had 5 gospel conversations.

As for me, I compensated my inability to do the normal Wednesday Sunnybank outreach by sharing gospel to my hospital room mate Mr He was of same age with me and had business connection in Hong Kong. He is from Heng Zhou 杭州and been joining his daughter for 4 years. His English is still not good enough to communicate. So, an interpreter was arranged for his day surgery, but after he was released to the patient room, he was on his own. Since we shared the room I could heard him struggle in communicating with the nurse behind the separating curtain, so I volunteered to be his interpreter. With this relationship building block, the next day, means to day, God used me to have a long chat to share first my testimony then the gospel. He exclaimed to praise with admiration that God is a real living God that saved me from the choke of pride of today but be humbled to be His servant. His whole family was not yet Christian, only his daughter has Christian friends to invite them to church. So, I encouraged him to think seriously the message I shared and read the good person tract home to become the spiritual leader of his family leading them to follow his track to receive Christ.

So God is good creating all sort of Kairos moment for us to share the gospel in the most natural way. In Hindsight, it was not bad to be detain to stay in the hospital overnight with very good catering meal and the caring service of the nurses.

Operation 513 Battle Log of Sunnybank Outreach on Wednesday Dec 1, 2021 from 1300 to 1500

It was still a rainy and gloomy day, but the gospel warriors from different ministry groups assembled again there at Sunnybank to serve God together shining for Jesus with joy and gratefulness. In Christ, we are still one spiritual force under the banner of Christ and in the strength of the Holy Spirit. Basically, Johnny, Gary and Hung kept staying around at the bus stop. It was the grace of God to have restrained the rain as such none of us were bothered by the incessant but only drifting rain.

Today, I could see again good team work orchestrated by God through the Spirit. A couples of gospel targets having rejected one of my team mates but the Spirit still urged me to get connected and had a good chat with positive effect. First was Trevor and Aborigine originally from Stradbroke Island, and then Miss Hung from China. God also connect a number of Cantonese speaking people especially a couple from Hong Kong that I can use the unique Hong Kong situation to find analogy for sharing the Gospel that was more appealing to them. Recap below were the Battle Log of Hung:

1. Trevor was approached by Gary. They only had a brief chat. But the Spirit inspired me he should be an Aborigine people that I had burden to minister through my past AMOS experience, and he might have knowledge about Charmaine I met last week. So, I approached him and it was bingo to find out that they are really remotely related but Trevor Knew Charmaine’s family well. Then I was able to cut into the Aboriginal’s culture treating all things with spirits to start the chat box about the genuine Spirit of God, and thence the Gospel. In brief, Trevor turned very responsive and receptive as obviously he could see there is an invisible hand behind to get us connected.

2. Then I caught up with a man by the name Chang å¼µfrom Taiwan. He stood a short distance away from the Bus stop in the rain with an umbrella, possibly intending to avoid us. But the Spirit still at work to connect us for a reasonably good chat sharing the full Gospel and getting his promise to seriously consider to accept Christ.

3. After then, I just saw Miss Hung(æ´ª) with a big metallic cross pendulum neck lace yet she bluntly rejected Johnny. The Spirit made me curious about the weird scene that someone with a cross rejected to talk about the cross. I laughingly challenge that lady and miraculously she did feel offended and even empower me to share her the full gospel. The Spirit also enlightened me to use a new analogy of the germless requirement of an operation theatre for demonstrating what is meant by perfection as a condition to go to heaven. No germ can be allowed into the operation theatre or else it will lead to infection and death of the patience. Likewise, God cannot allow sin creeping into heaven as it will eventually infected and corrupted everyone. This illustration of the gospel seemingly appealed to and convinced thus possibly atheist lady and she willingly took a tract to ponder the message again back home.

4. Shara is a fair dinkum Christian lady from India with 100% assurance of salvation. Though she appeared a bit not so welcoming for a chat as if she knows everything and did not need a stranger to teach him about gospel and salvation. She now attends Hillsong which made me wonder if her sound doctrinal teaching is really from there or her previous mother church.

5. Stubby was again an India and she was all open to hear my sharing though not paying full attention. Seed anyhow had been sowed and pray that it will settle down in good soil that will bear fruit in His time.

6. Then I was Rejected by a China man who was indulged in playing game. God knows when he would wake up from all these secular indulgences.

7. Then I approached a Chinese couple with the man appeared very talkative and even a bit argumentative. Because we communicated in Cantonese so it made our chat more causal with less tension. Gospel message was shared with a bit of apologetic exchanges with the man to let him know the gospel is truth that cannot be distorted and downplayed by human ignorant and uninformed view.

8. Wayne is a very lowly living guys with a shirt having torn and broken by great area but fixed with many safety pins. His situation seemed even worse than many homeless people and he obvious is with mental health issues that normal people will avoid contacting him. I did have initial hesitant to avoid him but the Spirit still moved me to approached him and I was surprised to find out that he is actually very approachable as if an innocent kid who can find joy and happiness easily in small thing in his life. He was overjoying to make a screaming laugh when I said he definitely is a good man wanted by God and again I use the germless requirement of Operation theatre to make him understand God want him to be clean and sinless. He joyfully accepted God’s the invitation to accept Jesus as his Saviour. Hallelujah and amen.

9. Finally, I caught up with two HongKongers by the sure names of Yuen and Lam. We had a long chat starting with sharing about the Hong Kong situation that had raised common concern amongst all Hong Kongers. God moved me to share my life testimony how to be humbled by God from a once successful IT professional to a sidelined nobody and how my anger against God not protecting the democratic movement in China that was ended by a massacre turned out to be an avenue for me to be found by God in UK. As after all those tragedies, how I was led to Christ in Manchester, UK and became a pastor and more so a Gospel warrior. They both took in what I shared and promised to take it serious about their eternal destiny in the hands of God.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Nov 24, 2021 from 1300 to 1500

Gary and Ben joined Johnny and Hung to make a team of four to serve at Sunnybank today. We split into two smaller team with Johnny and Ben going over to the East side and Gary stayed with Hung on the West side. There were many interesting conversations especially with two girls both called Charmaine especially the 2nd one who is an aborigine but urbanized living with us in city. Recap below anyway is the Battle Log of Hung.

1. Megan a mixed Japanese and Aussie cross breed girl who has not heard gospel before yet show genuine interest and willingness to listen to the full gospel and promise to make serious consideration to make her step of faith to accept Jesus as her saviour.

2. Two Chinese girls, one on the phone and the other one declared herself a Buddhism follower but I still managed to chat on with them the nutshell of the gospel though not with positive result.

3. Edward, is a Sherwood Methodist member who had chatted with Johnny before. Yet, he seemed to have no assurance of salvation as such I walked him through the relevant Bible for clarification and edification.

4. Tony a Pakistanis young man of Muslim background believes good deeds earn heaven. I Walked him through the Gospel message to get the right understanding then the bus came.

5. A Chinese guy by the name of Chan that Gary had contacted, was approached by me to see if he needed follow up explanation when he was still standing there. I was able to start a new round of conversation but then the friend who was to come to pick him up arrived to cut the conversation short.

6. Charmaine was a very responsive chatter but it was a pit there was not enough time to before the bus arrives so I could only touch base on the nutshell of the gospel.

7. Mark a good listener of catholic school background and he went to church but did not know if he is saved or not. It was good I had just enough time to brief him the nutshell of the gospel to bring assurance to him that by grace through faith, he will be 100% saved by the atoning sacrificial death of Jesus.

8. A lady by the name of Chang from China and with her brother who was too shy to engage into conversation. Chang raised many questions to show that she has a lot of misinformed understanding about Christianity. She was impressed and promised to rethink her choice to accept Jesus.

9. A man by the name of Chan from Guangdong listened attentively and patiently the full gospel before the bus arrived as show eagerness to consider.

10. Another Charmaine who was an Aborigine girl but identified with me after I share my AMOS experience. She was a bit argumentative initially claiming good and bad person all go to heaven as no person can judge and condemn others as bad guys. I agreed with her but get her to understand that God is the one to judge. Then I shared the full gospel showing her no one is perfect or righteous enough to earn the heavenly citizenship. We all will die in our sin unless a perfect person takes our place to receive the punishment of our sins. She finally consented the gospel message is right and is what she needs. We took a selfie as a memory of this divine encounter and gospel conversation.

11. An ABC English speaking avoid answering assurance of salvation despite attending local English church In south bank. Our conversation was interrupted by an incoming call.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Nov 17, 2021 from 1300 to 1500

God’s grace is sufficient for those who serve Him faithfully. The weather turned much cooler with light breeze which was most ideal for street outreach. We started with just two of us, Johnny and Hung. But not long after Martin and Michael of OAC joined us. We shared a bit each other’s routine ministry during the week. It is always a great joy to serve together as a team even we are under different ministry groups. Finally, Martin and Michael moved over to the East side near Sunny Park. Basically, there were ample chances of conversation with non-believers and Christians likewise. The climax of today was a girl approached by Johnny expressed her desire to received Christ. Johnny asked me to give her the gospel of John as a gift and lead for her to pursue God and begin to do bible studying. As for me, God led two Congo people having the same name of Naomi to me, one is a non-believer and one is a fair dinkum Christian. God did have a mysterious plan to guide us to meet certain persons to accomplished his purpose for those persons. Recap below is my Battle Log for today: --

1. Naomi and Titus were sister and young brother from Congo. They were waiting for parents to pick them up. I anyway took the chance to share the full Gospel to them which they indicated full understanding, then their father came to end the conversation. But I trusted God’s plan and work on them is not yet finished.

2. Then God led me to approach another girl who is also from Congo and is called also Naomi. She must have seen me sharing gospel with other so she welcomed me with a big smile when I approached her. She did not let me know she is a Christian only after I finished sharing the gospel. Perhaps she wanted to learn how to share the gospel. I then switched to test for her assurance of salvation which was spot on 100%. It improved her full understanding of the three-fold deliverance of God ’salvation that we should not satisfy and stop at the point of justification receiving Christ to get our eternal life and heavenly citizenship. We should move on in His strength through the guidance of the Holy Spirit for sanctification by partnering with God to do His good work. She showed great appreciation for my clarification and edification.

3. Jack an ABC who appeared very attentive though not yet reaching the time for being moved to receive Christ.

4. Dr Chan mentioned about Christi’s Family Church when Johnny shared gospel with him. Praise and thanks God that he must have taken part in some of our half day tour for Gospel outreach and more Gospel movie in the afternoon after the morning tours. It was great to be able to catch up with Dr Chan which certainly is a sign of God’s special election to let us minister to him.

5. Amber and Carmen are two young girl from Hong Kong doing Master of Finance at Griffith. They have no religious background but were happy to chat with me as a Hong Kongers. I hope the tract and Gospel message will be served as seed springing into new life in Christ in His time.

6. Jo a middle-aged Aussie lady who claimed to believe in reincarnation but not God. I did not debate if reincarnation is real but focused on Jesus’ salvation. At the end, she still heard the full gospel and took a tract home.

7. Two girls are from Taiwan so I referred them To Johnny. They claimed to have some faith but not Christianity. From their life style and behaviour, we believed they purposely avoid Christianity that emphasizes on repentance from all known and unknow sin. We can only pray for them to realize sexual orientation is only one kind of sin that we human have committed. We all have committed various kinds of sin that we all need Jesus.

8. Then I approached an Singaporean man who listened to the nutshell of the Gospel as the bus came too quick.

9. Finally, I caught with another ABC and the bus again came too fast to cut our conversation short.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday, Nov 10th, 2021 from 1300 – 1500

We were over joy to have Ben joining us, Johnny, Gary and Hung today at Sunnybank. Ben uses to meet and serve with Johnny at the Inala Shopping Centre on every Thursday. We are grateful to God moving Ben to join us, hopefully on a regular basis from now on. Johnny chose to return to his old position on one of the corners of the pedestrian foot bridge on the Sunny Park side. I, Gary and Ben stayed on at the bus stop on the Sunnybank Plaza side. It was a good day of outreach with mixed results and surprise divine encounter. A young girl from Malaysia who chatted with Johnny first. I tried to go over to take a photo of them but their chat finished before I got to them. The girl just walked up the foot bridge and we walked pass each other. Instead, I took a snap shot of the girl when she passed by rubbing shoulder with me. Then half an hour later. The lady Sherina Lee appeared at the bus stop of the West side. She took initiative to greet me as if she knew me. Later, I found out that she confused me with Johnny simply because she saw me holding the same kind of tract in our hand. It however, kicked start a good conversation letting me to reinforce the gospel in her mind and encourage her to response to the tender voice of the Holy Spirit to receive Christ as her Saviour. Then weirdly, she left the bus stop as if she came her to meet me. God’s amazing work kept surprising me to not limit my self for any seemingly impossible situation for the Gospel sake. Recap was my Battle Log for Sunnybank today: -

1. My first gospel target was a man from Mainland China who claimed himself as a Buddhist.佛教男子 His intention was to decline to chat with me, but I still managed to tell him Buddhism is good but just as good as all other religions telling people to be a good person. Yet unless we are perfect, good and bad persons all go to hell to face judgement after death and be convicted to suffer eternally in Hell. He was interested to note that only Christianity provides a righteous solution to address sin that proper punishment will be exacted on every sin we committed. Yet it was Jesus who voluntarily took our place to receive the punishment as such we are deemed as sinless ready to be accepted back to our heavenly kingdom home. Pray that the message will work in his life.

2. Then I met up with Salina, a member of Rev Abraham Chen’s One Heart Church.陳有文牧師的會友,上了把握時機一課. Actually, on Sept 1, 2021, Salina from One heart Church greeted Johnny again. I took over to ask about her church general status and tried to introduce Kairos to her. 合一教會. Today I again had a long chat with her using the Kairos approach to deepen her understanding of the gospel as well as God’s Dual Kingdom and Redemption Project.

3. A local Aussie man was friendly and receptive to hear the gospel. It was a pity that the bus came too quick to cut our conversation short. Still pray that the Tract will serve the purpose as God’s Willing.

4. Then I caught up with a young lady from Le Shan Sichuan. 四川東北願意聽. My personal testimony of joining the rescue team of the Sichuan earth quake in 2008 had drawn her interest. She could feel the work of Jesus in my life through professing the Christian faith. She apparently was attracted to pursue but at this time her friend from Shan Dong came to end our long conversation. I anyway still managed to give that girl a tract and pray that it would take effect as God has planned.

5. I went over to the East side where there was much less chance to share the gospel. There was only one local ussie man at the bus stop. I had already politely introduced myself but that man still responded in rude manner accusing me approaching him without self-introduction and asked for permission to speak. The fact was as mentioned I did introduce myself telling him my name. So, I did not argue but pull away to let the rest to God.

6. Sherina LEE from Malaysia was very nice greeting me because of my tract . I anyway took the chance to refresh the gospel message with her as per narration in the above.

7. Then I met my last target today by the name of Shang Shan Dong響山東, despite being a mainlander and a non-believer, she seemed to be very interested in the gospel message. Another man listened from beside was also drawn into the gospel sharing and he took the initiative to ask for a tract as well as my phone number which I failed to give him as the bus was all waiting for him to board and leave. So, all I can do is to uphold all these to God. 非常有興趣丶另一男問電話?

Operation 513 Battle Log For Sunnybank on Wednesday Nov 3rd, 2021 from 1300 to 1500

The weather turned much cooler ideal for street outreach. Again Johnny, Gary and Hung met at Sunnybank to team up preaching the gospel to people of all nations. Gary first set up two signs with God’s words. There is always enough people flow in Sunnybank but it is also a very difficult mission field with high rejection rates, By grace, we still got enough opportunities to share. Team work is also very prominent here. It is not just collaboration amongst the three of us but more importantly each of us with God through the Holy Spirit. There were many instants that one of us got rejected in the first place, but ultimately other team mate would get a successful connection in the second approach. Recap below is the battle log of Hung:

1) A middle-aged lady appeared impatient to chat but eventually still gave in. She declared herself a Christen not long after I started sharing the gospel. SO I witched immediately to test for her understanding of the gospel and her assurance of salvation which she again appeared very impatient to answer. It was not a good interaction but I still thanked God for this divine encounter. 基督徒, 但不願理釆,也不肯定有十足救恩。

2) A couple of Chinese ladies who once declined to chat or taking a tract. I made a second attempt after they were be seated. Thanks God then they are willing to listen in a more relax mood. Their response to the gospel was basically positive. At the end, one of the girl was convinced and was willing to take a tract when the bus came. 一對中國女子,曾拒,後一女願拿單張

3) Then I bumped into a first general ABC as she is at least 40 years old. She could not speak good Chinese as such we still communicated in English. She was a willing listener of the gospel and appeared quite responsive. She promised to ponder after reading the tract at home.

4) Rice from China who rejected Gary but chatted in Chinese with me friendlily and interactively. Pray that the sharing will work in his heart.

5) Two Cambodia girls again declined Gary but was ok to talk to me in English. I shared to her that despite Cambodia is a Buddhist country, Christianity has picked up growing lately as I have many Christian missionary friend working there. It was a pity I could just manage to have time for a short chat as the bus came very quickly.

6) Lam a Vietnamese man who was so drawn into the chat that he missed the bus. He was very polite and claimed himself a Buddhist. I shared with him Buddhist is good at guiding people to be a good person but has no solution for the punishment of sin.

7) A Chinese lady took a tract before but don’t fully understand the gospel. I went through it again with her and she was a willing listener and appeared to be a seeker.

8 ) Chinese lady appeared a bit indifferent but still seemed to be listening before the bus came. At the end, she still rejected the tract

9) Another Aussie lady said she was fine but actually missed the chance.

10) Peter from Shenzhen is a fair dinkum Christian with 100% assurance of salvation and clear understanding of the Gospel. He was humble to learned why most Christians failed to have same assurance of salvation like him because of their insufficient understanding of God’s three folds salvation plan.

11) African guy on the phone but took the tract first to show his willingness to get to know more about God

12) Daphanie a Filipino nice girl who were willing to listen but the bus came too quick. Pray that the tract will do the job passing on the gospel message.
