The weather made a sharp turnaround from a sunny & warm late Autumn Tuesday to a gloomy chilling & rainy near winter Wednesday. If not because of the passion to work with God in delivering our commitment to spread the Gospel to people of all nations, we might be tempted to stay at home for a break. Johnny originally could not come as he had a trade man job appointment to do some renovation job at his home. Yet the job was finished earlier as such he could rush to re-join me at the very last moment. The light drifting rain did not pose difficulty against our street evangelism but rather rendered us help to drive people gathering at the undercover bus stop. Yet our start was not all smooth, or in reality we faced initial rejection or no interest responses most of the time. Yet, in the Spirit and in His strength, we were both given wisdom to find the leeway to soften the cold heart and changing the negative attitude to a receptive gospel sharing happy ending. Recap below is my divine encounter with or without a conversation.
1) An elderly Chinese Diaspora man who was born in East Timor æ±å¸æ–‡ è¯åƒ‘ but with parents from the Plum Province of Quandong. 廣æ±æ¢…縣,He quickly declared he is an anti-religion atheist and refused to chat anything about religion.å宗教無神論硬心. God gave me wisdom to identify with him as a Diaspora Chinese so as to keep the conversation going. Instead, I shared my testimony to have the gospel message chipped into the story of my life.
2) Then I chatted with a Muslim lady who appeared very friendly å‹å–„回教女å though initially declining to accept my tract, But as the conversation went on along the line of ""are you a Good Person" she came to the same understanding that no one can go to heaven by good deeds. 知éžé 好行為,I told her that is exactly the message of the tract so at the end, she delightfully took a tract from me when the bus came.
3) Then a Chinese lady initially rejected my tract as she claimed she got one from one of us before.ä¸å¥³æ‹’絕,曾接單張,But when I asked her to share what did she get from the tract , she admitted she had not yet read it. So, I offered to brief her about the tract and God changed her heart to listen the full gospel and turned more receptive at the end.
4) A Chinese couples boy and girl friends appeared very fearful when approached by me, They chose to move a distance away to avoid me. It just served as a reminder that people like them more so need the gospel to restore peace and remove all the fears in their lives by receiving Christ,
5) Then an elderly Chinese man mistook me as someone call Elder Ong when I approached him claiming he had got our tract before. Quickly I know he might have been approached by the Mormon æ‘©é–€Evangelist who like to give themselves the title of Elder. This brief encounter also served as a reminder for me to be more diligent in spreading the gospel then those cult group.
6) Then I was greeted by an Aussie Couples Harry and Olivia. I thought we might have chatted before but it was not the case. So I could only give credit to God granting me with this special divine appointment with them. I wasted no time to share the gospel with him and found out a bit later that Harry actually is an Orthodox Greek Christian yet with poor if not no bible knowledge. So naturally he also has no assurance of salvation. I am glad I helped him to re-establish assurance in the redemptive grace of Jesus alone. I encourage him to bring her atheist girl friend to Christ.
7) Then I approached another Chinese lady who also show initial lack of interest to chat. But I did not give up and switch to share my testimony how the gospel changes my life. She ended up deeply drawn by my testimony and the power of the gospel that she almost missed her bus which had come and stayed there already a while and was about to leave. She only came back to here sense at the last moment to get on the bus with a tract she originally rejected.
Crystal is a Griffith University student from HKG. She also chose to refuse to have a chat initially. But when I found out she is from HKG and can identify with her as a Hongkonger , her defense system was disarmed and we have a very good chat on the gospel and my testimony till the bus came.
9) Joey has just migrated from Tasmania to Brisbane and lives in Brown Plain. She check the bus route number at the bus stop but messed up with the direction. God moved me to find out her need for the right direction to go back to Brown Plains. I took this as an analogy for right direction of life in Christ. I ended up walking her cross the bridge to the right bus stop on the other side. I could managed to finish the nut shell of the Gospel and finding out that her husband is a Christian. So I encourage her to take it seriously to read the tract and make the right decision to receive Christ to make her family complete in the grace of God.
10) Wayne a lady from Taiwan who initially also showed no interest to the gospel but ending up agreeing the message and guidelines is good for everyone.
11) Finally, I approached Susan who also said she got the tract but has not seriously read it. So I offered to share the nutshell of the gospel to her in case she forget to read the tract again at home. It turned out she was impressed by the message as well as my passion to testify for God.

There was a team of four at Riccarton on Tuesday. I had a couple of highlight conversations.
The first was a follow up (although I don’t remember talking to her the first time). She remembered the way to heaven with a gentle reminder - it being clear that she has not responded to the gospel with a repentant faith yet. We fell into a law / gospel conversation where I answered her questions and reasoned with her. No outward sign of contrition, so I leave her in God’s hands.
The second occured right at the end of the outreach. A guy skated past and I asked if he wanted to try the good person test flip chart. He was keen! He hopped off his skateboard and was instantly engaging. It became apparent early on that he considered himself a very good person - better than everyone else on the front page of the flip chart! So as we were going through the law, I decided to turn the screws so he would really feel it. He admitted he had lied. So I asked him, “what do you call someone who tells a lie?” His answer: “a liar”. So then I asked, “so what does that make you?” He thought for a bit, and he said: “I’m a liar”. The tactic worked, because his eyes were subtly shooting daggers at me. In this way, I slowly took him through the law, letting him feel the weight of his sin. I was able to then turn to the gospel, and the true hope of forgiveness of our sin found only in Jesus’ sacrifice. But he was still wrestling with the law - he still considered himself good.
Suddenly he recognised someone he knew and he decided to go. He took a tract before he dashed off. To my surprise, he was back five minutes later - he wanted to talk further. The outreach ended up going fifteen minutes longer than usual so we could do so. I worked to continue bringing the conversation back to the serious nature of sin - as this was currently his biggest roadblock. But he really liked to talk, and would constantly talk over me to ask questions. It was a bit of a tussle, but a good one. He seemed challenged and impressed. He knows how to get in touch.
The rest of my outreach time on Tuesday and Wednesday was spent with the team online. A total of 27 gospel conversations that went for two minutes or more. The longest of those chats went for 25 minutes. Here are some of the highlights.
My first chat was with a couple of Muslim guys from Tunisia (North Africa). Normally the Muslims I talk to will argue. But these guys seemed stunned into silence in understanding of the gospel - praise God! At the end, I asked if they had any questions. One said, “not right now, but I will be in touch”.
I interestingly had two separate conversations where the person I was talking to insisted they were perfect people. That doesn’t happen very often!
A lady started by saying Satan is better than God! I was able to take her through the law and the gospel and explain why that can’t be so. Her response was to change suddenly and say: “I think I’d rather stay gay, that’s better”, and she disconnected.
Another lady hears the way to heaven is faith and not her good deeds and is really confused. I labour with her for a while and she slowly starts to grasp the good news of Jesus! Sadly, she accidentally disconnected, but not before I could point her to the scriptures to verify what I said. She is in the hands of the Lord.
I had a very interesting chat with a Christian guy sitting at a set of drums. I asked him what he had to do to go to heaven, and he clearly pointed at keeping the ten commandments as the reason. We then had a good long conversation where I was able to gently challenge him on this and explain what the Bible teaches: that we are saved by the grace of Jesus, through faith that will lead to good works. He had grown up in an environment where the emphasis had been on just being good. I hope he was challenged enough to search the scriptures on this and examine himself to see what he really is trusting in to be saved. To finish, he played the song “to hell with the devil” by Stryper for me - him playing the drum part. It was so good! I hope he gets in touch so we can discuss further.
The final chat I’ll mention was one with a Mormon in Utah (first time I’ve connected with someone from there). They seemed to be very knowledgeable, which I found intimidating. But I went back to the basics, and took them through the law and the gospel, trying to be clear on where and why Mormons differ (based on what I know). To my surprise, they didn’t argue, they seemed to be challenged, so I became bold and told them to flee Mormonism and the Book of Mormon. It was a good chat.
I praise God for the support enabling me to get out there and concentrate on talking to so many about the most important questions of life, and the answers to them: Jesus. Thank you so much. Please keep praying - so vital - and if you are in Christchurch, join me as you can! :)

The Brisbane City team of Operation 513 had the wonderful opportunity to partner with and run a training day of evangelism at Wyoming Church of Christ over the Anzac weekend. It was a trip that had been postponed four times due to Covid, but God hadn't made a mistake with the timing. The church isn't overly large or grand but of the regulars at the church, a little over a third attended the training, meaning there were about 35 there for the two talks, one explaining the importance of the gospel in Evangelism, the second giving a rundown of the structure of a conversation. Then after a brief Q and A and some lunch, 14 from the morning training turned up, to pair with the team of 6 from Brisbane and set out in threes and fours to make the gospel known!
It was a wonderful day of equipping and evangelism! The morning sessions went well, with helpful information conveyed and the evangelism in the after was full of exciting opportunities to learn and to see how simple it is to make the gospel known!
Nigel, who was only recently professed faith, was stressing the importance of remembering that you're talking to a person who doesn't just want a lecture but wants to know that they're cared for. This touched on one of the key points of the talks, which is that as Christians and those seeking to communicate the gospel, evangelism should be treated very much like a normal conversations, where there is information given, questions asked and time left for the other person to respond. It isn't about giving a 5 minute talk you have prepared nor is it about seeking to argue about everything they've said. It was of great encouragement to see that this understanding was understood and being applied even on the first day.
Another person from the church, Skye mentioned that she was very encouraged by a line in the talk, "You're not the first Chrsitian to have sinned after being saved, meaning you don't have to seek to defend yourself or Christians when they have done wrong things". This was a helpful reminder that the trademark of being a Christian is that we are sinners saved by grace, that the gospel being proclaimed by us is an acknowledgement that we ourselves deserve Hell and Christ is our only hope, so when you've done something wrong, or another professing Christian has done something sinful we don't need to defend ourselves, rather we can acknowledge this fault and even apologise for it if need be to the one we're witnessing to.
Some highlight conversations from the afternoon were firstly with a young couple, who was very open to chat. The young man had considered the topic a lot and due to wanting the freedom to decide what he thought was best had settled with thinking that God doesn't really set the rules but rather judges you based on how well you have done in accordance with what you think He expects from you. This was slowly challenged and dismantled as not being the way the universe works and a demonstration of the depths of the wickeness of the human heart were shown but as the gospel was being explained the couple realised they'd been chatting for a while and had something to get to so had to run off. It was an insight into the way many people on the central coast thought though. They weren't generally hostile but many people had default to spiritualism, the idea of something other, without and need to stand before that other. This was the theme of many conversations had by the team, as many people proclaimed to believe in a reincarnation.
There was a terribly sad encounter with an elderly couple in their early eighties! When approached the man said that there was nothing after death and when asked why he held that position, he gave the defense, "Because I only believe what I can prove". This was followed up by the request to prove that there was nothing after death to which all he had to offer was a repeat that he only believe what he could prove. This demonstrated that the couldn't prove such a premise and was actually believing something that contradicted his proposed belief system. He threw out a range of other strawmen but wasn't very interested in hearing any answers, especially not the hope of the gospel. The conversation didn't last all that long but the final comments were left by his wife who shared, "We've had many born again Christians try to share this with us and convert us over the years, none of them have succeeded thus far and I don't expect you will either". She rejoiced in this resoluteness of heart to reject the very God who created her, breathing in the very air that He was letting her enjoy.
It was encouraging to hear that others had tried to share but saddening to hear that they'd just as quickly shut them down. But the next conversation was a cracker. Two siblings Ricky and Amelia said they'd thought about it previously. They saw that it makes that God exists, they saw that sin deseves Hell, meaning they were on their way there and that their only hope was found in Christ taking the punishment they deserved. Ricky grasped this really quickly and was surprised as he'd never heard of it before. Amelia on the other hand was still stuck wanting to live her own way. She was thinking she knew better than God and was shown why it makes sense that God knows best (as He is the creator and as the designer of all things would know the scenarios in which things would be beautiful and beneficial and the scenarios in which it would be damaging and detrimental). She came to see the logic of this but was still hestitant as it was clear that to acknowledge God as God would mean that she isn't God. They both took tracts and said that they would consider it themselves!
The final conversation of the afternoon was with a man named David. He at first declared that there was no God and the reason for this was that there was no evidence. Over the next thirty minutes, it was demonstrated in many ways that not only was it evident that God must exist but that he was actually viewing the world in a way that relied upon the existence of God. Then he came to hear of the good news of the gospel and understood how serious his predicament was and was really challenged by it all. He said he was definitely not expecting to have such a conversation but was very glad that he did and said he had a lot to think about.
Overall it was an exciting weekend and encouraged the team to look for more opportunities to equip churches and Christians in the work of evangelism, so if you'd be interested in organising it for your church, reach out, we'd love to make a plan!
Also please be praying for those spoken to on the Central Coast in the time there, not just the non-Christians that God will draw them to Himself in salvation but also the Christians that they will be built up, encouraged and enpowered by the Spirit of God to start making some plans to put into action this simple knowledge they have now that the gospel may flourish on the Central Coast and that many may come to salvation through the simple efforts of faithfulness of God's people!

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday May 4th , 2021 from 1330 - 1500
It was a warm and sunny Autumn afternoon. It was still the team of three Johnny, Winnie and Hung to partner with God to share the Gospel in His strength and in His plan and Will. With this mindset as a servant of God or vessel to be used by God to channel the bottom-line blessing to people of all nations. It will free us from self-burden of not good enough for His work as God can use whatever broken vessel to do His job. So we will not feel incompetent when facing more than normal rejection on a certain day. We also will not feel too proud of ourselves with a lot of contact in a good smooth sailing day. It is all the work of God and glory be to Him alone. We just pray that God will move and call more people to join the street evangelism team to see His Name be made known to people of all Nations. Today, again all the three of us had a very good day of working with the Spirit. God even had moved a few people proclaiming to receive Christ right a way on the spot. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung and Winnie.
1) A Big local Aussie boy was ok to chat but I just barely had enough time to share the nutshell of the gospel.
2) Joshua is a joyful guy from Rockhampton to attend UQ starting in July. He is sort of guy who likes to plan ahead. He is from a Christian family with a Grandfather priest of the Catholic Church. Yet his parent is not church going but he has limited knowledge of the Bible but far not enough to comprehend the salvation of God by grace through faith. My sharing helped clarify issues and bring him to the full understanding of our need as a sinner to accept Jesus as our saviour and Lord of life.
3) Corey and Josephine is a dating boy and girl friend from Townsville, They are also of Catholic background and are not church going. Neither of them have Assurance of salvation which was gladly clarified in depth before the bus came.
4) I spoke to a middle age lady from Beijing. I gained her trust by identifying with her home city with my past visiting experience. Once she lent an open ear to me then I switched quickly to gospel sharing which was appealing to her. Pray that this first seed of gospel will bear fruit in His time.北京大妞很å‹å–„去è†è½ï¼Œä¹ŸèªåŒæ‰€åˆ†äº«çš„ç¦éŸ³ã€‚
5) Paula is a local Aussie living at St Lucia of Catholic background. It was no surprise he does not have concept of salvation. Yet he reacted positively and genuinely toward the gospel message. Pray that he will receive Christ as his saviour through this divine encounter.
6) Harshih is a Malaysian big boy. He argued that if a machine went wrong, it is the problem of the manufacturer. Likewise, if human sin, it is the responsibility of the creator God. I responded that the maker God did make us perfect in His image, yet we have been given free will so we have to responsible for our sin. So I reiterated and established that we sin out of our free will so we are all subject to judgement and is due to be punished by eternal dead or separation from God. The only way out is let a perfect person take our place for the punishment of our sin which was done by Jesus as our redeemer and saviour. I pray that this apologetic exchange will gave that young man new light to reflect upon our own imperfect if not sinful character as a member of the fallen human races.
7) ç´«è Chi JIn is from Quanzhou 廣州,she chose to speak in English with me despite she speaks both Mandarin and Cantonese. 說英語,the exchange of opinion was rational. She seems to have both rational but independent thinking as such she at the end was convinced that the gospel is logical, sensible and compassionate with divine love of God upon us. She actually was shared by Winnie in previous week, but did not use it as an excuse to turn down my approach for a conversation. ç¨ç«‹æ€è€ƒ, æ•‘æ©è¿‘了. Seemingly she is one more big step closer to the final stage of embracing Jesus' redemptive grace.
Battle Log of Winnie approaching 12 persons five of which are Christians but do not fully understand salvation. The others are non-believers.

On Saturday night in Brisbane City, a team of eight, gathered to proclaim the excellencies of their God and King and despite there being less people out than usual for a Saturday, many gospel conversations were had and God was glorified!
Early on in the night were some funny conversations, there was a chat with a Spanish man who had little english who saw that God must exist but had to run, this was then followed by a man who said, "Hey, I think you've asked me this at Capalaba". This is an outreach the team hasn't done since Feb 2020, so the man must have a good memory but he didn't want to talk further and headed off.
Then came three conversations in a row that were very similar, all around 45minutes in length. The first was with Tom, a man who instantly when asked, "What do you think happens after we die?", responded declaring that he was a man of science, so there's nothing and his mind won't be changed. Over the next 45minutes he saw that it is not only logical to believe that God exists but it is actually the only possibility for the universe to exist, the way that it does, meaning it would be illogical to reject it.
He then was shown that His rejection of God isn't on the basis of what he can and can't know and was actually because he didn't want to know. Because if he was to acknowledge that there was a God, that would mean he isn't God and would be accountable to his Creator. Tom came to understand the gospel message as well and was able to explain it back in his own words but was adamant that it was just a nice opinion and he would keep living his own way. He was challenged with the seriousness of this as he didn't know the day that he would die and currently he was beliving something that is opposed to the evidence before him. He was thankful for the chat and headed on his way.
A very simiar conversation happened with Cameron who was even more explicit, he made it clear that although it was great news, the impact it would have on his life was something he wasn't interested in because he loved the pleasure of being able to live however he sees fit. He too was warned of the seriousness of eternity, especially in light of the fact that he was now very clear on the way to Heaven, meaning punishment would be more severe because He was also disobeying the direct command to respond in faith to the gospel.
Lastly was a conversation with four teenagers, two of them were very similar to Tom and Cameron but there were so very funny moments throughout, as Monale, the main antagonist against God's existence would make and argument, a resposne was given and he couldn't give defense to the response, so he would either change the goalposts or simply say, "that doesn't make sense" to which one of his friends kept pulling him up on saying, "You're just doing that because he showed you that you were wrong".
It was funny to see the others friends willingness to point out that his argument had been defeated, meaning he couldn't get away with simply ignoring what was said. Over the course of close to an hour these boys saw that God's existence is required, the our sin is wicked and deserving of Hell and the only hope of salvation is found in the God against whom they have rebelled. Three of them were able to explain the gospel in their own simple terms and saw that to trust in Christ as Saviour would impact their life and to reject Him was to choose Hell. They took tracts, were pointed to the Instagram and tiktok and were encouraged to consider seriously their eternity, because even though they are young they don't know the day that they will die.
Please be praying for these men, that God would kindly soften their hearts, draw them to Himself and give them the gift of faith that they my find their hope in Him alone!

Sunday was freezing cold in the morning, but turned into a lovely sunny, warm, autumn day in Christchurch. A team of five were on the streets in the afternoon. It was a bit slow in Cashel Mall in spite of all the people out and about. Andy and Toby had a long chat with a guy (pictured), but he really struggled to grasp the gospel for some reason.
We decided to move to Cathedral Square, and I’m glad we did. I decided to preach in the open air. I haven’t done that for a long time, and so at the very least I would be getting practice - even though there weren't many people around. But it turned out that many people did flow past, and hear parts of the law and the gospel. I preached with a passion.
After that we split up for ‘walk up’ and to give out tracts. I got into a conversation with four teens - two guys and two girls. It was fiery! One of the guys went on an intense apologetics attack. I calmly addressed his questions, and worked to get him to calm down - it worked. It was a great exchange. Multiple times I was able to touch on the gospel. Three of the four of them took tracts.
I was buzzing after the preaching and that conversation. Oh Lord, I love you!
I made it home in time to join the team for the last hour of the online outreach. The last conversation was great and funny. The kid thought he had to be good to get to heaven, heard the law and the gospel, and very quickly learned that the only reason we get to heaven is because Jesus died on the cross for his sins. We talked about faith being the only thing we have to do to accept that gift, and we discussed biblical repentance. I challenged him on what was stopping him from responding to the gospel - nothing. So I pointed him to a church and the Bible. It turns out he is already part of a church, and his Dad makes him read the Bible every day. I suggested that he ask his Dad what he has to do to go to heaven and see if he gets the right answer. To my surprise he shouted: “Dad! Dad! What do you have to do to go to heaven?” He listened for a bit, and then told me: “he says you have to be nice”. Then he turns and shouts: “you are wrong!” Then he turned to me and said: “I’ll tell him”. Haha, it was so funny. I told him how he and his Dad could get in touch with us if they want to follow up with questions.
At the very end of the stream, I got to listen into the end of one of Grace’s conversations. I listened to him respond to the fireman analogy - it was so powerful, and then Grace swung back to make sure he was still grasping the gospel, and his answer was so clear and just couldn’t help rejoicing! The gospel is so amazing, and so wonderful. God you are so good!
I was also online on Saturday. The highlight conversation was a long one with a guy from Norway. As soon as he realised what I was doing, he said that he had been to Bible college - but he had rejected the Bible. I spent thirty minutes reasoning with him - but it was like he was blind, I just couldn’t get through (as far as I could tell) - so sad. But he heard the gospel, and I left him in God’s hands.
Thank you for your prayer support of the Operation 513 ministry - it’s so vital, we can’t do this in our own strength!

A fascinating series of gospel chats on Thursday morning:
The gospel + abortion outreach went well. A team of three. Again, no counter protesters, and this gave us many opportunities to engage other people with abortion apologetics and the gospel. The stand out conversation was with a kid who agreed with our stand. He seemed to have a good grasp of the gospel, and so I asked him which church he went to. It turns out he had recently stopped going to church and was now in a Bible study. Sadly with the JW’s! I was able to warn him away. I gave him multiple tracts, and a card for my church.
Back online, the highlight chat was with a guy sitting in a Chick-fil-A drive through! He hears the gospel between placing and receiving his order. The great thing was that his wife (sitting next to him, but I couldn’t see her) became engaged, and started helping him with the checking questions I was giving him. He had heard the gospel by the time he started driving out of the drive through. I told him not to use his phone while he was driving and disconnected.
On Friday morning I was online, before heading into the city. The online chats were difficult, lots of resistance. It took me thirty minutes, and lots of false starts before I was able to share the gospel with my first person - and that person wasn’t interested. I also had a fascinating chat with a Muslim who said he lied when he said he believed in God!
Andy preached in the city, there was a homeless guy on a bike who stopped to listen for a long time. I was able to talk to him briefly, and later Andy must've handed him a tract, because at the very end of the outreach (hours later) we walked past him lying on the pavement reading the tract (pictured).
A team of five were in Cashel Mall - Bridge of Remembrance end. Many good opportunities to engage people with the gospel. But much resistance, sadly.
To end the day, I had a couple more chats online. The first one was hard, and I gave up on it - I was tired. But then, my last gospel chat of the day was one of the best I’ve had in a very, very long time. It was a real divine appointment with a lady in a call center in the Philippines. She came to tears as she slowly realised there was hope for forgiveness for a sinner like her. The conversation went for 30 minutes as I was able to encourage her, answer her questions, point her to the Bible and a church. What an honour to be able to bring such good news! Thank you Jesus - you are amazing - all glory to you alone.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wed April 28, 2021 from 1300 - 1500
Today we started with 3 team members Johnny, Gary and Hung. Gary still stationed on the East side where he had set up two gospel signs. Gary came over to the West side to join us in opening prayer then returned to the East side. I went over to check him out and took several photos of him chatting with various people.
Sunnybank used to be a harder land for street evangelism, but the Bus stop on the West side is always a blessed spot with many more chances of gospel chat. Johnny was very happy being able to be fully occupied in gospel chatting one after the other. He spent relatively a longer time to share with a Mun from Taiwan. I shared gospel with her couples of months ago. This was a very opportune time for Johnny to do a thorough follow up with her. Seemingly she was led to stay at the bus stop for just meeting and chatting with Johnny, as later I saw her leaving the bus stop for elsewhere in the shopping centre. God is sovereign and paves the way for us to minister to His elected ones. As for me I had seven conversations of varying length as recap below.
1) My first gospel target was a mid-age lady from Shanghai. She seemingly was checking out the bus info. I went forwards to render help and then kept sharing gospel afterwards. She politely listened my sharing before she left for her friend’s appointment. She did not showed rejection or even expression of indifference but neutrally on the receptive side possibly because of the friendliness and help I rendered to her beforehand.
2) Mr Chen a UQ student from Jiangso. Unlike most Chinese Mainlander. He listened to the gospel with patience and interest. When asked, he could not find any reason to reject the free gift of eternalize life offered by Jesus to set us free from the bondage of sin. So just pray that God grace be showered upon him when he read the tract at home.
3) Max , a Taiwanese ABC, listened to my gospel sharing also in a neutral and objective manner. He also admitted that the gospel is sensible and logical to accept. It is only a matter of time that he will make the last step of faith to receive Christ.
4) Then I picked up the head of the family of three Mr Wang from Beijing. I shared a bit of my memory at Beijing and hurriedly shared the gospel which was cut short by the bus. Mr Wang anyway took a tract and pray that it will bring impact to his life and his family.
5) Vienna is an Australian born Filipino with no faith background who never heard of the gospel. But she showed immediate willingness to accept Jesus after I shared the good news with her. She joyfully agreed to take a selfie with me to signify her appreciation for the gospel message.
6) A Chinese girl declined the tracts from another street evangelist but softened to take one tract from me. Pray for God's continuous work in her.
7) Joey an Indonesia Christian who has 100% assurance of salvation. He played trick on me pretending initially a non-believer and see if I preached the biblical gospel message. He also was willing to take a selfie with me to signify my first divine encounter with an Indonesia Christian.

Abbas (pictured) is now calling the western corner of Riccarton Road and Rotherham Street: Speakers Corner. It’s right outside his shop: SoYo - a great frozen yogurt place (my family & I went recently)!
If you read this Abbas, we love interacting with you! We are praying that you will come to know Christ as your Lord and Saviour. :)
On Tuesday, Roger, Roger’s friend John, and I were there to share the gospel for a couple of hours.
We have spoken with Abbas, a Muslim, about the gospel many times, he claims to have about ten of our gospel tracts at home. Today the conversation continued. I sat with him for a good long while, going over the gospel with him, listening to his objections, and doing my best to answer them. I did a fair amount of listening, learning about the particular kind of Islam he follows, and a bit of his background on how he became more interested in Islam. At times our conversation became quite animated, and it attracted others to come and listen as well - in particular, a couple of guys - one of whom I interacted with recently. He is an atheist, and deeply dislikes religion. It became an interesting three way exchange for a short while! :)
Eventually I left Abbas with Roger where they continued talking.
Later, two girls went past and I was able to fall into a gospel conversation with them. Next thing I know, Abbas is next to me listening to the conversation (pictured)!
It was a wonderful, busy outreach. Praise God. May God continue to grant us favour at this corner!
The rest of my Tuesday and Wednesday was spent online with the team.
On Tuesday I was also in an email conversation with a guy I first started sharing the gospel with during the gospel + abortion outreach a few weeks ago. He has left a cult, and is leaning towards becoming Greek Orthodox. I’ve been labouring with him to help him understand the gospel, and answer his very good questions that touch on deep theology. The emails on Tuesday ironed out his objections to the idea of limited atonement (believe it or not) - this was inhibiting him from understanding and accepting the gospel. I had to carefully navigate some tensions in the Bible - too far one side and you fall down a cliff, too far the other and you fall down a crevasse! It feels like I was successfully able to explain the narrow path between, and I was able to finish up by pleading with him to trust alone in Jesus alone for the forgiveness of his sins.
One of my online conversations that really stood out today was one with a Muslim guy. He came to hear and understand the gospel, but he rejected it. He liked to talk, so I let him. When he stopped, I would gently ask him a question, like: “how can God be both just and merciful in Islam?” He would then go on about how God is not like man, he is not a judge, he can just forgive - but you could see him hearing himself in light of the gospel message he’s heard and how it didn’t make sense. Once he stopped talking, I simply asked, “are you saying God is not just?” And then let him go again. The power of letting them hear their own arguments next to the logic of the gospel.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday April 27, 2021 from 1330 to 1500
Praise and Thanks God that Jenna introduced a couples from CCCB St Lucia to join us and started serving with us on the Street right away after a briefing by both Hung and Johnny. It was a good challenge to Brother Pak and his wife Sister Lan as this is the first experience to sharing Gospel to a stranger by random as led and guided by God. Both had been faring very well especially Brother Pak. He made many contacts and had conversation with both Chinese and English speaking people. Sister Lan might have to take more time to get used to this sort of random gospel opportunity beyond our control but I assured her that nothing happened by coincident and serve no purpose even the gospel sharing time is short and incomplete. God is the real life saver and life changer to follow up on each and every divine encounter till the elected targets respond to the gospel with full conviction to trust in Christ.
The whole team of five worked credibly well with almost non-stop Gospel opportunity to minister to people of all nations (people Groups) Recap below are the battle Log of Hung and Winnie.
1) Delta is a young local Aussie UQ student who initially showed no great interest to chat. But I kept a friendly smile to break the ice and he eventually open up to the gospel. Though the bus came a bit too early, but the seed of Gospel should have been sowed.
2) Then I approached a matured student who also showed no interest to chat and refused to accept my tract. But I used his mature student status to introduce myself identifying with him as a matured student to do Master of Counselling in 2008. Then it followed with my personal testimony mixed with sharing of Gospel. So thanks God to inspire me to take this de-tour route to successfully shared full gospel to this initially stone heart man.
3) Then I was led to share with an Indian UQ student. She appeared very friendly accepting the tract and listening to the gospel willingly in receptive manner.
4) Then I caught up with an UQ student from Brazil who was very friendly to engage in conversation with me. He is a non-believer, but I associated with him the Brazilian Church in Japan that is now got infected with new break out of Covid-19 but the Church still managed to serve and helped people locally. It is all because they have a new life with a new overarching life goal to love the Japanese that they don't know but to share to them the gospel like what I was trying to share with him. He was moved and promised to read the tract and pray to God.
5) Stirling an Aussie UQ student who was born in Hong Kong as such he claimed himself Chinese (Hongkonger) . His family have Christian background and is church going but he does not fully understand the gospel. With my explanation, he admitted that the gospel is sensible and logical. So pray that our divine conversation will serve as a kind of push to bring him closer to the point of making his step of faith to receive Christ as his saviour.
6) Irvine is an UQ student from Ireland of Catholic Christian background. He has no assurance of salvation, but find the gospel message very appealing and promised to have ago to renew his Christian faith to biblically admit himself a sinner that need the redemptive grace of Jesus.
