The Essex team had a blessed day of ministry on Saturday 11th May in Romford. The gospel was proclaimed by Rob, Andrew and Chuck in the open-air, with many hearing the truth of God's Word. There were also some very encouraging one-to-one conversations, with two people taking a Bible. Although there was much indifference, we praise God that the gospel went forth. To God alone be the glory!

All praise to the name of the Lord!

The person was very hard-hearted from the start, but as one of the team members responded to his objections, and shared the gospel with him, we could see God slowly soften his heart.

To the one who can save to the uttermost!

To the one who is always faithful!

To the God who made the world and everything in it!

Salvation belongs to the Lord!

Often people doing evangelism can get discouraged when they don't see any fruit from their labor. But the good news is that we are not in charge of the results, God is. So we leave it all up to Him and whether he chooses to save a person or not. We simply have the task of being faithful to bring the message of the gospel to people.

Glory and dominion to God alone!

To our Mighty Saviour God!

Posted 19 April 2013, 12:21 PM by Ryan Hemelaar. PermalinkWhat another great night it was in Brisbane city. It had been raining for most of the day, but by the nighttime, God answered our prayer and ceased the rain for the time of the outreach.
This is a 4 minute video from the outreach, please watch:
At the end of that video, there was a snippet preview of the following two minute clip detailing a conversation I had with a guy who said he had no sin.
To our sovereign God be all the glory!

Posted 19 April 2013, 12:21 AM by Ryan Hemelaar. PermalinkThis Friday night God really blessed us by bringing in lots of labourers for the team who were ready to proclaim the gospel. This meant we were able to spread out and get into conversations all around the place.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Posted 11 April 2013, 7:23 PM by Ryan Hemelaar. PermalinkOne very interesting chat I had was with a Roman Catholic man. When I asked him why he is going to Heaven, he responded, "It's by faith and works." So I pulled out my Bible to show him Ephesians 2 where it says we are saved by faith and not works, but he said, "How can you as a man interpret the Bible?"
